NYRA shifts pick six races

OZONE PARK, N.Y. - Beginning Wednesday, the New York Racing Association will conduct pick six wagering on the last six races of the day, rather than on races 3 through 8, as has been the case.

"The change will allow for more participation from horseplayers in the western U.S.," said Bill Nader, senior vice president of NYRA. "Additionally, it will create a better alignment with our pick four, which is offered on the final four races on the card."
