Best Bet: TIMS FINALE (14th)

Spot Play: SKULL OF ROSES (4th)

Race 1

(5) PETRUCHIO looks terrible on paper but did show some improvement last start and will offer a big price in a really weak field.  (3) SM'S TERMINATOR has been competitive against better and benefits from a top driver.  (9) ROSE RUN NEMO gelding gets some post relief and is capable of a decent late kick.

Race 2

In a really tough race to handicap (6) FULLY LOADED GUN is one of few who's shown a decent burst of speed.  (2) TYMAL TRITON has not won a race in a really long time but could benefit from his early gate speed; command a price.  (5) SHOCKBYELECTRIC looks capable on paper but usually has very little left late; use caution.

Race 3

(5) TALLERTHANWOODY is just now back in racing shape and could be ready for an improved effort.   (3) GOTTA LUV CASH has just been trotting evenly but made the most money in the field last year by far.  (2) CONTECH gets a good post and looks to be in line for a decent trip.

Race 4

(3) SKULL OF ROSES seven-year-old pacer always gives his best effort and should offer a nice price in an evenly matched field.  (2) CHARLIE B gelding gets a significant downgrade in the bike but probably has the most ability.   (4) KRUSTY THE CLOWN takes a huge drop in class but was 0 for thirty-one last year; command a price.

Race 5

(2) RED ROCKS bumps up in class off an impressive victory and will be tough to beat with a similar effort.   (5) AL BROWN is one of few threats to the top choice.   (1) GINGER TREE JIMMY veteran trotter makes his first start in a new barn from the best post.

Race 6

(2) Q ZILLA paced a fast mile out of the blue last start and could threaten with a similar effort.  (1) CODYTHECLOWN gets a huge driver change and the best post.  (3) RENATA has been competitive against this bunch but has just been racing evenly as of late.

Race 7

(4) ALERO BLUE CHIP will be firing with a purpose early looking to take no prisoners.  (6) MASERATI SEELSTER is racing gamely and just needs a good setup to have a crack at the top choice late.  (7) CRANK IT UP nice looking pacer needed his last start off a long layoff and raced really well; threat.

Race 8

(2) OUR MCLOVIN finally gets a good starting post and will be used very aggressively.  (7) LOST JEWELS pacer owns the most back class in the field but is very inconsistent from week to week.  (9) TOMMY TWO SHOES owns a win against much better on the year; threat.

Race 9

(9) KAHOKU drops in class and would have been a heavy favorite against this group a short time ago.  The 7-year-old gelding just needs to mind his manners for a big chance late.  (4) LIFE LONG HANOVER also drops in class and is capable of much better than what's shown on paper.   (2) IMJISPINETANKU trotting mare does her best work up front and that will likely be the game plan.

Race 10

(5) JUST CROWNED owns wins at the open level and is due for a good effort.   (1) BUSTA MOVE went a huge three-quarters of a mile last out and will likely be sitting a nice pocket trip; threat.   (9) STEVIE DIAMONDS is very inconsistent but shows fast miles against much better.

Race 11

(3) DABUNKA rebounded nicely last out and is the horse to beat if he stays pacing.  (5) FLIRTIN paced a lifetime best last out; threat.  (7) MOVIN' N SHAKIN' has been a new horse for the current connections but could have a much tougher time from the outside against slightly better; use caution.

Race 12

(6) O'WOW gelding trotter makes his third start for new connections and has flashed some ability.  (1) MR APOLLO set a lifetime mark last out trotting up a storm, however the 5-year-old gets a downgrade in the bike and will offer low value.  (4) STAR CHIP rebounded with a big effort after being flat the start before; threat.

Race 13

(5) HALLIN picks up a huge driver change and should be much more involved early.   (4) SUNBURNED VERN drops in class and is usually competitive at this level.  (3) PRIME TIME POPPA paced a good mile last out and will be used aggressively for a top driver; threat.

Race 14

(3) TIM'S FINALE will be very tough to beat with an easy lead.  (4) LILY REI has been facing better and pacing some good miles; threat.  (9) FOX VALLEY ROXANNE can't be overlooked being sent out for hot connections for the first time.

Race 15

(1) JALAPENO 5-year-old gelding pacer needed his last start, gets the best post, and should be sitting on an improved effort.  (9) CYCLONE ASHORE also needed his last start; threat.  (4) DERINGER GUN rarely wins but could hit the ticket at a price underneath.

Race 16

(1) TIDBIT drops to the bottom level and will be used very aggressively.   (4) BET ON ART has some question marks coming off a scratch but will be in the mix if ready.  (9) CAPTAIN CASEY showed a good burst of speed last out before tiring late.
