Race 8 - $10,000 Guaranteed Pick Four Pool

Jeremey’s $1 Pick Four Play:

3,4,6,9 / 4,7,9 / 1 / 1,2,3 = $36

Best Bet: FRIDAYSCOMIN (10th)

Spot Play: PAMSFOOLISHTERROR (5th)

Race 1

In a weak and inconsistent field (9) JACKSONS SPIN gets a negative driver change but that could boost the price on a horse who's shown the most ability.  (3) MAJOR MIKE has just been racing evenly but is one of few that has flashed a decent burst of speed.  (1) YANKEE SOLDIER has yet to win on the year but has been better for a new trainer; use underneath.

Race 2

(2) CODY COY gelding went a big three quarters of a mile last race used hard and will be tough to beat with a better trip.  (9) LOOKSLIKEFIRE burned cash last out but is a threat at this level.  (7) GESPACHO hikes up in class off a dominating effort, however this is a much tougher spot.

Race 3

(3) NORDIC VENTURE drops in class with the top driver and will be on an early speed mission.  (2) CJ'S SUPER SECRET also drops but has just been racing evenly; command a price.   (1) HOGUE'S ROCKIE gelding trotter has some positives despite the low percentage pilot.  The 10-yr old makes his third start back off a long layoff and could be sitting on an improved effort.

Race 4

In a field with a combined four wins in one-hundred-sixty starts  (7) UP FRONT CARL should offer a nice price from a difficult post and just needs to find a way into the race for a shot late.   (5) AKISSTOSENDUSOFF owns the best win in the field by far and the pacer had to need his last start off over a month.  (6) SUCCESSUFUL VENTURE gets a huge driver change and owns a win at the track on the year.

Race 5

(2) PAMSFOOLISHTERROR owns the best closing ability in a suspect field.  (1) MASERATI SEELSTER owns only one victory on the year but it was recently at this level; threat.  (4) INDMITABLE SPIRIT could be in the mix with a smooth covered trip; command a price.

Race 6

(5) NITEROI OAKS seven-year-old trotting stallion picks up a significant driver change and will be tough to beat if he stays trotting.  (9) DREAM KID put in an improved effort last out but still needs some racing luck from the second tier.  (3) ROCKIN H CHEERY O is tough to endorse hitting the top spot after a very lackluster effort last out but does hit the board a lot.

Race 7

(4) UP FRONT PETE WK was parked into a very fast half before settling in behind a horse who stopped in his face last start; top driver's choice.  (1) MR BAILEY gets the best post and will be much closer turning for home.  (5) CATCH THAT ANGEL looks terrible on paper but the trainer is capable of popping off big miles out of the blue.

Race 8

In a wide open and evenly matched race (3) FOREVER HAPPY has been competitive against much better on the year.  (4) JP ORAZIO will offer a big price but needs a competent drive by a suspect pilot.  (6) ARTISISTIC DREAMER has the ability to pace a good mile against a weak bunch.

Race 9

(4) SHAM'S BIG GUY bumps up in class off two nice efforts; fires early.  (7) SUNBUNRED VERN is capable but needs to find a way into the race; command a price.  (9) LEE A BRYANT can also threaten at this level and usually tries harder forwardly placed.

Race 10

(1) FRIDAYSCOMIN will run up the score for a nice payday if the gelding trotter minds his manners.  (9) ECHO'S PEARL should offer value and can certainly get a piece with some racing luck.  (5) SPEC T has really benefitted from facing softer groups in the series.  The well bred trotter will need much more to upset; use underneath.

Race 11

(2) BOLERO ANDREW takes a huge drop in class and was the top driver's choice.  (1) JULIE'S DAVINCHIE gets the best post in a field with few contenders.  (3) RIGHT ON TIME pacer is racing better than his lines indicate; threat.

Race 12

(1) ALE ALE JANDRO doesn't look like much on paper but a few of his prior efforts could beat this field.  (4) VICTORINTHEVALLEY has finished second in five straight starts and picks up a big driver change.   (6) MORGANS MAJESTIC owns good gate speed which could put him on the ticket; threat.

Race 13

(7) MYSTICAL BROTHERS should offer value first start in a new barn with a good percentage in that scenario.  (1) LITTLE AMOS picks up the top driver with the best post; big chance.  (3) MATTOX'S WESTERN could be sitting on an improved effort with a smooth trip.

Race 14

(9) SOAKING UP THE SUN would have won by daylight against a better field last out before making a break.  If the 3-year-old stays pacing its lights out.   (2) FRISK EM GATOR got picked off late after showing a good early burst of speed; command a price.  (8) HAZEL'S ALL SASS was the top driver's choice but needs more from a tough post; use underneath.

Race 15

(9) BAY SHARK has been facing tougher and is the horse to beat.  (1) ZAMBRANO gelding just missed last out racing gamely; threat.   (3) CHIPS GALORE pacer makes his second start off a layoff and should have more to offer in a weak field.
