Crazy Wow matched Muscle Up The Goal's all-age trotting track record at Northfield Park in Saturday's Cleveland Trotting Classic

Crazy Wow made in three consecutive stakes victories by defeating a group that included Resolve and Obrigado in Saturday night's $185,000 Cleveland Trotting Classic at Northfield Park.  The final time was 1:52 3/5, tying the all-age track record at the "Home of the Flying Turns."

Obrigado (Mark MacDonald) set the pace in the race, chopping out panels of 26 4/5, 56, and 1:24 1/5, with Crazy Wow (Chris Page) pocketed up and public choice Resolve (Ake Svanstedt) moving first-over to get within a quarter of a length of the lead at three-quarters.

Resolve and Obrigado continued battling side-by-side around the final bend and into the lane, but Page had guided Crazy Wow second-over behind Resolve past three-quarters, and then he fired him three-wide as they turned for home.  Once he was shown the clear air, Crazy Wow surged by the top two horses and went on to defeat Resolve by half a length.  Obrigado was third, followed by Maestro Blue Chip (Ronnie Wrenn Jr.) and Il Sogno Dream (Aaron Merriman).

Crazy Wow had won the Maxie Lee at Harrah's Philadelphia and Charlie Hill Memorial at Scioto coming into tonight's race, and Page thinks it won't be the last you see of the horse this year.

"Tonight the trip worked out perfect, but the horse was very strong at the wire," Page said.  "I look for a very, very big year with this guy.  When I moved him he knew what to do.  He's just a real horse."

A 5-year-old Crazed stallion, Crazy Wow is owned by Our Horse Cents Stables, Stable 45, J And T Silva Stables LLC., and Deo Volente Farms LLC.  This was Crazy Wow's 18th career victory, and he has now earned $1,865,064.  The 7-2 second choice, Crazy Wow paid $9.40 to win.

Four $40,000 Ohio Sires Stakes divisions for 3-year-old colt pacers were featured on the undercard, and they were won by:

--Drunk On Your Love (Foreclosure N) in 1:52 3/5 for driver Dan Noble, trainer Jim Pollock Jr., and owners Mark Ford and Jason Settlemoir
