Nob Hill Deelite takes Arcadia

Bossier City, La. - Nob Hill Deelite stalked the early pace before taking command on the outside turning for home to capture Sunday's $50,000 Arcadia Stakes. Here Tiger helped set the early pace along the rail and held on for second with Carson Bay finishing third. Grant County crossed the wire in fourth before breaking down and Night Doc completed the order of finish in the six-furlong affair for 3-year-olds bred in Louisiana.

E. J. Perrodin rode Nob Hill Deelite ($3.20) for trainer and brother-in-law Pat Mouton. The winning margin was four and a quarter lengths and the final time was 1:11.25 over a fast track. The victory was the Afternoon Deelites colt's sixth from only ten starts and his fourth stakes tally, all coming against fellow state-breds. He has now earned over $287,000.
