New partnership acquires Vinery Sales

An agreement has been reached for a new partnership, including trainer Ken McPeek, to acquire Vinery Sales Company.

In addition to McPeek, the partnership also includes former Vinery Director of Sales and new managing partner Derek MacKenzie, Matt Bowling of Bowling Bloodstock, Keith Crupper of Whispering Oaks Farm, and breeder Perry Harrison.

“Matt, Kenny, Keith, Perry, and I are extremely excited to be taking over the reins of Vinery Sales which is synonymous for quality and integrity,” MacKenzie said in a release. “We are looking forward to prosperity for our clients this year and for many years to come. Continuing the tradition of selling horses that perform well on the racetrack is our ultimate goal.”

Last year, Vinery Sales entered into a one-year contractual agreement to partner with Millennium Farms for sales consignments, which was discontinued at the end of the contract earlier this year.
