My Lordship got back on the winning track Monday in the $60,000 Miss Liberty at The Meadowlands, holding off the late run of Tisket a Tasket for a 1 1/2-length score.

My Lordship's winning time of 1:37.44 in the mile and 70-yard turf race was a course record, beating the mark of 1:38 that had stood since 1978. My Lordship ($4) is trained by Bill Mott and was ridden by Cornelio Velasquez.

The victory for My Lordship was her fourth in five starts, and followed an eighth-place finish in Hollywood Wildcat Breeders' Cup at Calder in April.

Monday's eight-race card at The Meadowlands was the last of three all-turf cards scheduled for the first three Mondays in June. The June 5 card was canceled because of heavy weekend rain. The cards were meant to fill the turf void created during the installation of Monmouth's new turf course.
