Multiple stakes winner Killenaule to Ohio

Multiple stakes winner Killenaule has relocated to continue his stud career at Ed and Angie Crother's Cedar Brook Farm near West Union, Ohio.

The 11-year-old Fusaichi Pegasus horse, who previously stood at Robin Berryhill's Hidden Spring Farms in Palmyra, Ind., will stand for $1,500 in 2013.

Killenaule won four of 27 career starts over four seasons of racing, earning $238,934. His best season came as a juvenile, when he won the Dover Stakes at Delaware Park and the Storm Cat Stakes at the Meadowlands. He was also multiple stakes-placed at ages 2 and 3, including a third in the Grade 2 Remsen Stakes.

From his first two crops of racing age, Killenaule has sired eight winners from 22 starters. His chief earner is Una Mas Cerveza, who has bankrolled $47,181.

Killenaule is out of the Grade 1-winning Metfield mare Tipically Irish, a half-sister to stakes producer Iristuka. Their dam, Irish Tizzy, is a half-sister to Grade 3 winner and sire Kingdom City, as well as stakes winners Seraglio and Code Six.
