Monticello Raceway played host to the New York Sire Stakes consolations for 2- and 3-year-old trotters and pacers on Monday afternoon, and drivers Dan Dube and Jason Bartlett and trainer Linda Toscano all posted two wins in the $50,000 races. Dube's wins came courtesy of Python Blue Chip in the 2-year-old filly pace, and Octane Blue Chip in the 3-year-old colt pace.  Python Blue Chip, an Ake Svanstedt-trained daughter of Roll With Joe, stopped the clock in 1:55 3/5, and Octane Blue Chip, an Art Major gelding trained by Ken Andersen, posted a 1:54 4/5 decision. As for Bartlett, he would annex the 2-year-old colt trot with Cruising In Style, a Muscle Mass colt from the Andrew Harris barn, in 2:01 1/5, and then came back to win the nightcap, the 3-year-old filly pace, with Toscano pupil World Apart (Art Major) in 1:55 4/5. Toscano would also take home top honors in the 2-year-old filly trot, with Tim Tetrick guiding Chapter Seven daughter Sevenbuyeleven to a 1:59 3/5 score.
