Yummy With Butter and Paco Lopez win the Oceanport on the Haskell undercard.

Yummy With Butter reeled in the pacesetting Sayif to win the Grade 3, $200,000 Oceanport on the turf, the first of two graded stakes on the Haskell Day undercard at Monmouth Park.

It was a longshot player's delight as Yummy With Butter, 9-1, prevailed over Sayif at 10-1.

It was a rematch of the Battlefield Stakes on July 9, where Sayif opened up a huge lead that stood up while Yummy With Butter closed to finish one length behind.

This time, Yummy With Butter kept Sayif in his sights right from the start. Sitting second for most of the race, Yummy With Butter won by 1 1/4 lengths.

Paco Lopez rode his second stakes winner of the day, having earlier taken the Jersey Derby with Breathless Storm. Trained by Yvon Belsoeur, Yummy With Butter ran the 1 1/16 miles on the firm course in 1:40.98.

“I told Paco let’s not be late this time,” Belsoeur said. “Last time, the horse on the lead got away from us.”

Baryshnikov, the 9-5 favorite, got third.

Lady's Secret: Quiet Giant rolls by nearly seven lengths

Quiet Giant demolished the competition, beating Lacie Slew by 6 3/4 lengths in the $101,500 Lady’s Secret Stakes for fillies and mares.

A 4-year-old, Quiet Giant gave jockey Julien Leparoux a second stakes win on the card to go along with Soaring Empire’s victory in the Majestic Light.

In her first start since running sixth behind Blind Luck in the La Troienne Stakes on the Kentucky Oaks undercard, Quiet Giant swept into contention on the second turn and pulled away for her sixth win in 11 starts.

“She won really easy,” Leparoux said. “I kind of stood up at the eighth pole. I knew I was far in front because I was watching on the infield TV screen. That’s nice when you can do that.”

Quiet Giant, trained by Todd Pletcher, ran the 1 1/16 miles in 1:41.54, paying $4.40 to win.
