Money Card repeats in Classen

Money Card had little difficulty making it back-to-back wins in the $55,000 Dr. Theodore F. Classen Memorial Stakes at Thistledown, taking command entering the stretch and widening to a four-length win over her nine Ohio-bred filly and mare rivals Saturday.

Coax Me Heidi rallied from well of the pace to finish second in the six-furlong race, a half-length before Indian Ink.

Money Card is owned by the Drake Racing Stable, trained by Shirley Girten-Drake and was ridden by Jane Magrell. She got the six furlongs in l:12.28 and returned a $5 as the favorite.
