Race 1

(3) UPFRONT HOOSIERBOY won this event last week and has been very consistent in recent weeks. He's got a terrific overall record and comes out of Johnson's barn. (5) BESTOFBEST HANOVER has found a new gear since entering the Moreau barn in recent weeks. He's paced four straight sub-1:50 miles. (2) CAMAES FELLOW will get a lot of attention once again this week. He won in this class just three starts ago and is an obvious option for the triactor.

Race 2

(7) RIVETING ROSIE captured the Peaceful Way final against the best freshmen filly pacers in North America in her latest outing. That makes her the top candidate for this event. (6) MISS AULTSVILLE set a new Canadian record in her most recent start after a terrific trip. The connections have made changes to her equipment which has benefited her. (2) TOUGHS LEGACY draws inside and is fresh off a win. She's peaking at the right time.

Race 3

(6) BEE A MAGICIAN is the queen of this division. She's undefeated in 12 starts this season and seems to be in a different league. (2) MOTOWN MUSCLE gets Jamieson in the bike, which is a plus. They came close to defeating BEE A MAGICIAN on Aug.10. (5) ANGIES LUCKY STAR has a solid record this season and has been very consistent. She's versatile and comes out of Moreau's barn.

Race 4

(3) RACEY MISS is peaking at the right time for trainer Steacy. She has a terrific win record and stepped up recent starts. (9) LOVE CANAL looked like the top filly in this division, but she wasn't herself in her latest start. She was putting in steps around the final turn and will look for a rebound effort. (7) PAN LUIS OBISPO debuts on lasix and is a top candidate for this division. She has the speed, record and gets the Waples/McIntosh combination.

Race 5

(10) DEWEYKEEPUMNWHY has been assigned post 10, but he gets Jamieson in the bike and has won four of his last five. He has gate-speed and looks like the best in this group. (9) MUSCLE MATTERS comes out of the Baillargeon barn and has missed the board just once this season from five starts. (6) GREAT WHTE WAY has won two straight and is very versatile. He comes out of Norman's barn and was an impressive winner in his latest.

Race 6

(5) PISTON BROKE gets top billing from me based on the class drop. He's paced his last three of four starts in sub-1:50 fashion. (3) BIGTIME BALL draws inside and also drops in class. He won at this level just two starts ago. (9) FRANKIES DRAGON comes out of the Preferred and into this class. This class suits him much better.

Race 7

(7) FLANAGAN MEMORY captured the Goodtimes Trot earlier this year and has won three of his last four. He was a convincing winner in his latest and will likely be the favourite. (4) BUDDY HALLY put in a new lifetime best performance last week and was very impressive in doing so. He couldn't be coming into this final any better. (1) TOOCOOL FORSCHOOL gets the rail and gets Jamieson in the bike. He closes very well and should benefit from an inside trip.

Race 8

(5) BUGGER BRUISER was a private purchase that certainly has paid off well for Auciello. He has won three straight since the purchase and most recently in 1:50 3/5. (9) THREE OF CLUBS was a going-away winner last week before making an uncharacteristic break last week at the top of the stretch. He'll get a lot of attention once again. (7) CRAFTY MASTER also comes out of the McNair barn and has a good record this season. He was recently timed in 1:50 3/5 and that sets him up well in here.

Race 9

(4) SUDOKU is fresh off a win and looks like the filly to beat in here. She continues to improve, comes out of O'Sullivan's barn and draws well. (3) YOSELIN SEELSTER also won in her latest outing, draws inside and has a good record this season. She's versatile and should benefit from an inside trip. (10) LADY SHADOW will have to overcome post 10, but she has won three of her last four starts and five of seven lifetime. She has gate-speed and will need to utilize it.

Race 10

(1) MACH IT SO has a terrific win record this season and has been blessed with post one. He's got a terrific late kick and gets Davis, Jr. in the bike. (3) DUC DORLEANS has hit the board in each of his last four starts. He draws inside, has the speed and may offer a price. (5) TARPON HANOVER has been very inconsistent this season, but I'm going to try him in here. Menary's barn is always good when the money is on the line.

Race 11

(2) MONSTER IN LAW has a lot of class to him and is worth a look at this bottom level. He's fresh off two straight wins and has gate speed. (7) FIRE ON THE WATER drops in class, which is the main reason for my selection. He's hit the board in three of his last four starts. (6) CHEYENNE MOISHE found the wire first in Sarnia over an off-track and has a good record this season. He also comes out of the Montini barn.

Race 12

(7) DRAIN DADDY drops in class and gets Jamieson in the bike. That's the main reason for my selection. (3) BAY OF SHARKS draws inside, drops in class and comes out of Johnson's barn. He won just two starts ago. (6) THATS THE LIFE likes to race off the pace and drops in class. He's been pacing some credible miles as of late and may offer a fair price.
