Race 4 - $50,000 Guaranteed Pick Four Pool

Best Bet: ARTSPEAK (11th)

Spot Play: REAL ROCKER (7th)

Race 1

(7) EVENIN OF PLEASURE drops out of the Preferred, comes out of the Moreau barn and has a good record this season. (1) MICHAELS POWER has been offering quick speed for this class and has hit the board in each of his last two. (5) NICKLE BAG gets a much better post in his favor this week for trainer Shawn Robinson as he remains at this level.

Race 2

(6) DANCIN HILL was a game second last week for trainer Tony Alagna and gets Scott Zeron back aboard this son of Rocknroll Hanover. (5) MELMERBY BEACH did most of the work last week on the front before tiring in deep stretch. He continues to pace in the 1:50 range, gets regular pilot Paul MacDonell in the bike and shows a lot of versatility. (3) WARRAWEE NEWTON likely will offer a high price like last week, but shouldn't get overlooked for the triactor

Race 3

(2) SWEET LOU is the divisional champ up until this point with over $900K banked this season including nine wins. He's won six straight in 1:47 4/5 or faster, which is a record. (1) THINKING OUT LOUD gets the rail to his advantage for the  team of McIntosh and Campbell, and the past North America Cup winner has a terrific on-the-board record this season from 12 outings. (6) FOILED AGAIN is the sports richest pacer with $6.3 million in earnings and will get regular pilot Yannick Gingras back in the bike.

Race 4

(2) BEDROOMCONFESSIONS draws inside for trainer Tony Alagna and the daughter of American Ideal has only missed the board once from five career starts. (6) ARIA HANOVER hasn't missed the board in five career starts, including three wins. (3) SHAKAI HANOVER scored the minor upset last week at 3-1 for Team Jamieson. She'll begin from a good post and likely will offer a fair price on tonight's occasion.

Race 5

(1) SLIP INTO GLIDE gets major class relief along with Yannick Gingras in the bike. (9) AMIGO DE GRANDE raced very well last week to finish fourth considering it was his return from a layoff. (6) NORTHERN VICTORY has six wins on the season, including each of his last two starts. He continues to impress on this circuit and trainer Joe Cirasuloa has had a terrific season to date.

Race 6

(1) LYONS LEVI LEWIS has missed the board once from five starts this season, gets the rail and comes from the Ron Burke barn. (3) GO DADDY GO comes from a pair of Hall of Famers in Bob McIntosh and driver John Campbell. With an inside post and his consistent form this season, he's very likeable in here. (7) SPORTS BETTOR is fresh off a win in last week's division of the Nassagaweya.

Race 7

(2) REAL ROCKER draws inside in this wide-open contest and should offer a fair price. He enters the Kyle Fellows barn and gets Tim Tetrick aboard. (8) CHAMPAGNE PHIL added Lasix to his program last week. He was assigned a post 10 start and therefore wasn't a factor. (9) MACHAL JORDAN continues to offer a low price in this class and has been knocking on the door as of late; overdue for a big effort.

Race 8

(2) BETTOR'S EDGE is an option that is worth considering if the price is right. He'll likely be the second or third favorite in this field, and with an inside post is worth a look. (5) CAPTAINTREACHEROUS perhaps will be the favorite when the gates unfold. He debuted on this surface for the first time this season last week as he captured the Preferred event by over a length. (6) CLEAR VISION went a tough trip last week in the Gerrity and is one of two entries in this dash by trainer Ron Burke.

Race 9

(5) JK SHESALADY arguably is the top rookie pacing filly so far this season, as the talented miss remains a perfect four-for-four. (6) WELL HELLO THERE is fresh off a win for trainer Ron Burke and this Well Said miss has two wins to her credit from five starts this season. (4) CASHAWAY draws inside this week, comes from the Tony Alagna barn and hasn't missed the board in four career starts.

Race 10

(6) BAND OF ANGELS is hard to overlook in the top spot after winning five-of-five to begin her career. (7) HAPPY BECKY began her career with a perfect four-for-four record, including the Whenuwishuponastar Series final, but that ended last week in her division of the Eternal Camnation. (2) MACARENA MAMA likely will offer a price in this field and is worth a look for trainer Blake Macintosh.

Race 11

(5) ARTSPEAK is the top rookie pacer in North America right now in my opinion. The way he captured last week's division of the Nassagaweya was flawless as he remains a perfect four-for-four to begin his career. (6) LYONS AGAIN enjoyed a two-hole trip behind Artspeak last week and settled for second, timed in 1:53 1/5. (7) TRACEUR HANOVER has won three of four starts this season, including his division of the Nassagaweya last week for trainer Norm Bardier, Jr.

Race 12

(2) ODDS OF EQUULEUS has been timed in 1:49 3/5 or faster in each of his last five starts and gets class relief in this contest. (7) DUVOTO HANOVER also ships onto this circuit after showing exceptional speed south of the border. (4) DAPPER DUDE has been racing very strong in each of his last two starts and is fresh off a win at this level last week.

Race 13

(3) SING FOR ME GEORGE continues to drop in class for trainer Tony O'Sullivan as the veteran pacer was competing in the Preferred events just two starts ago. (5) YUCATAN has hit the board in three of his last four starts and drops in class for trainer Corey Johnson. (8) RESISTANCE FUTILE has been overbet in recent starts, but qualified sharply and perhaps is sitting on a big effort.
