Race 1

(5) PUSH BACK was left hung out to dry by a resilient winner last week but hung on there well considering. He gets to drop back to a level where he has won several times already; top call. (2) RAMBLINGAMBLINMAN was motoring up in a different gear than the others late, but it was too late. He needs to be closer at the 3/4 which is likely in this shorter field. (1) REGAL SON provided perfect cover for the winner last week. He has returned to the races in excellent shape and is due for some better luck.

Race 2

(5) DRIVINGTHEDRAGON N was very sharp in her North American debut but was aided by a soft first half. She'll need to step it up here but should be up to the task. (2) YOUR MY SECRET had a break in stride and broken equipment yet still finished 2nd off a tough trip. She's the one to beat. (6) DIANNA SANTANNA goes in and out of form but right now she is at her sharpest and will benefit if there is a mid-race battling for the front.

Race 3

(6) PISTON BROKE returned to action in sharp form, just missing after pressing the issue first-over. He should be able to set up a better trip from an outer post; on top. (7) EVENIN OF PLEASURE was caught in late in the same race and would be no shock if he wired them this time. (1) NIRVANA SEELSTER raced huge on the front to hold off the two above but now must deal with both of those classy rivals back in a week after getting the kinks out; dicey.

Race 4

Eight of these nine raced in an action-filled dash Monday night. Of those we'll call (6) I SCOOT SAM on top off the claim by the high % Adams outfit. (3) HIT AND GIGGLE A went a long trip to the front then came under immediate assault. He can trip out much better here. (2) MR DENNIS appeared to hate the sloppy track and was claimed by red-hot trainer Auciello; using.

Race 5

(3) BOURBON BAY, the night's Best Bet, towers over his opponents in this stakes series and likely runs the table. (1) EXEMPLAR went a clean trip last week and showed good speed in the back half; exotics factor. (8) WILD AND CRAZY GUY has been very sharp the past month but hasn't faced anything as good as the choice. We'll try to beat him out of the exacta here.

Race 6

(3) SUNNY BEACH DAY has retained his sharpness while racing over his head. He fits well in this class. Look for Henry to move him early this time. (2) REAL ROCKER hasn't missed a check this year, is sharp, and a definite factor from a good post. (5) MODERN XHIBIT has been trying to close into accelerating late paces in his last two to no avail. Maybe A Mac sends this one tonight.

Race 7

(2) QUIT SMOKING NOW was no factor racing vs. better but with a race over the track and some class relief tonight he should be a contender here at a square price. (7) ZEUS LIGHTNING tried it first up in the same race and backed up. He should go better here in his third start of the year. (8) ADVERSITY debuts for Moreau. That makes him a must-use on our pick 4 ticket.

Race 8

(4) MODERN LEGEND was raging with pace late in his 2015 debut and got room just in time to utilize it to get up for the win on the wire. He is a likely repeater at a much shorter price. (3) ALEXAS JACKPOT closed just as fast (53 2/5) but was farther back; exacta factor. (5) NICKLE BAG keeps racing tough every week but is more likely for a minor award with the competition getting tougher.

Race 9

(2) KINETIC KING drops to a level where he is competitive and is sharp enough to get the job done here at a price if Mayotte can get him off the gate in the first flight. (6) RECKON IM READY raced well first off the claim for Puddy and is dangerous here, too. (5) BROADWAY PRINCE spun his wheels a bit in the last 1/4 last week but should be passing horses late here and may spice up the exotics at a good price.

Race 10

(6) HUNCH MAN was raring to leave out Monday night, but several to his inside had the same idea. He was forced to take back and went a big overland trip, considering. He's tonight's Spot Play. (5) A BOY NAMED SUUZZ took a mid-race shuffle but now makes his third start back after missing five weeks and should show his best here. (1) DECISIVE DESTINY is on a good roll but will likely be overbet in a field where he holds no real advantage.

Race 11

(3) CHAMPAGNE PHIL drops and quite likely pops here. (2) RESISTANCE FUTILE went a big trip over London and loves Mohawk; the main danger. (1) SI SEMALU put up some big fractions and only tired late. His form has really improved of late. (4) COUGAR HALL is likely for a smaller piece of the pie here vs. better. (6) HES A SENSATION kicked home quickly last out and is another good one for the bottom exotics rungs.
