I’ll give her the nod but wouldn’t argue with anyone who took a swing against her. (2) BONNIE BREEZE comes off an improved effort and she can make the ticket here, perhaps at a good price. (1) MAGICAL GLIDER and (6) TREASURE ON CREDIT are two first-timers in with a shot whose chances would improve greatly if the choice runs again. Race 2 (2) SHADOWOFHERSMILE did some strong front-end work in the City of London final, but she couldn’t hold off the pocket-popping chalk late. She has a decent chance here to break her maiden. (9) MITTANY NICOLE has put it all together in her past two starts and she could be a price here again; using. (1) HELLO LOVE is obviously one of the best ones in here, but she may be a tad vulnerable coming off the vet scratch. (7) BREEZY beat easier in her 2018 debut, but she’s not out of this. Race 3 I’m going to take a swing for the fences here with (9) GLENCOVE ZANI, who I am convinced is going to roll by at a big price one of these nights. Maybe with the trotting hopples on, this is the time. (5) LABATT HANOVER gets significant trainer and driver changes here; using. (3) YOOOUKILIS has been rolling for hot trainer Shepherd at Flamboro and while he is a contender here, he may be over bet. (6) AVUNCULAR is a good one to use on the bottom considering his good early speed. Race 4 (2) FIRESTORM was good enough to finish fourth in the Breeders Crown last year. She lays over Grassroots foes. (5) LADY BUBBLES looks like a different filly for trainer Steacy this year and if any are going to provide a challenge to the choice, it’s her. (3) CAMPASSION had a rough trip in the City of London final. She can rebound and take a slice here. (4) KEEN AS A BEAN was hammered at the windows last time then didn’t leave. She should be in the mix here. Race 5 (5) COSETTE was game in defeat last week, digging in late to save the place spot. She can improve off that effort, as can (6) OVATION SEELSTER, who was closing in late and should go forward off that improved effort. I see this race coming down to those two probably. (2) KEEP FOCUSED showed good late kick in her lone qualifier and she could be a player here right away. (10) CABOWABOCUTTIE used a perfect following trip to take home some OSS Gold money from London, but she may be over bet off that race and she has her work cut out leaving from the worst post. Race 6 (9) WHAT CHAPTER had plenty to offer late in her Mohawk debut and he can beat these if she’s a bit closer at the three-quarters. (7) VOTE FOR PEDRO was used early then overtaken in a quick third 1/4 and finished okay. He is back quicker this time and he’s dangerous. (5) VENUS DUHARAS trotted a 27 3/5 third 1/4 uncovered on the rim and she kept coming. She is another big threat here. (3) ZEPPELIN BI made two moves at huge odds. He can share with an easier trip. Race 7 (4) SHOWER PLAY was ready to win early last year and she seems well prepped for this sophomore debut; top call. (1) NEON MOON is the main danger coming off a sharp score. (8) SPORTS ICON was solid beating easier, but, I’m not convinced that she can get the trip she needs starting from out there. (6) ASKMYSECRETARY takes shares regularly and is a good one to use underneath. Race 8 Despite pacing a 27 4/5 final 1/4 last time, (3) FROOME could do no better than hang on for 4th. Only slight improvement here should be required to get him a win. (8) THUNDER SOME WHERE is another 2nd-time starter who can improve and threaten here. (1) HES GOT SWAGGER qualified sharply and he looks faster this year; picks up McNair; using. (6) HOTINTHESHADOW paced his final three-quarters in 1:24 flat in his debut, so there is some talent here. Tab the tote for clues with this one. Race 9 (4) SUDDEN PASSING was 2nd to the division leader last time. She should beat these. (5) SWEET TOUJOURS continues to improve and she can challenge. (2) DRY SILK FLOWERS ships in and goes for a sharp barn here; using. (8) HEY SWEETIE should be good for another minor share. Race 10 (1) OUR VACATION was locked up tight for the entire stretch drive in her debut and she clearly would have won if she had clearance. Filion should get more aggressive here. (7) MACHNHOPE was right there vs. a good filly last time and she merits respect. (3) ENCHANTED EVA has been racing great out of town and finishing fast. She should hit the ticket. (4) D GS SHADOWSBELL is another shipper worth considering for use underneath. (9) BOOK THE BET would have got a check in London last time, but she was blocked in the lane. She may hit the High 5 at a big price here.
