He looks ready for his sophomore debut here; top call. (7) BO MACH was flying late last time after staying covered up until the stretch. He should be the main danger. (2) MISSION THREE was also moving well late and he can close late for another slice here. (10) PARADISE BLUE CHIP – A $50k Forest City sale buy – is worth a look for the bottom of the exotics in this debut race. Race 2 In a wide-open race, I’ll side with (7) RUN DIRECTOR, who broke at the start through no fault of his own last time. (8) SHOTGUN SALLY goes for owner/trainer/driver Wayne Henry who can pop with a young one in these spots. (6) MISS MIMI faced some good ones last year. She fits well here; using. (4) WARAWEE TRITON had an OK opener and she could improve enough to make the ticket. Race 3 (5) LIFE HAPPENED was a strong winner in this class last time and this spot isn’t much tougher; call to repeat. (6) GHOST DANCE showed some talent in a brief campaign last year and he looked good in his April 27th qualifier; using. (1) MONTYS PLAY rarely misses the board. I’ll use him underneath. (10) BEACHIN LINDY missed some time now draws the worst post. I’ll play to beat him in this spot. Race 4 (3) SUDDEN PASSING finds a good spot to start her 3-year-old campaign and she should be tough vs. these. (9) RENDEZVOUS HANOVER finished off her mile impressively in her lone qualifier and she should provide a challenge to the choice. (8) CABOWABOCUTTIE is racing well and she can take another slice in this spot. (10) PROTECT BLUE CHIP goes for a stable that can send one ready off the shelf and she could be passing many of these late; consider for the bottom of exotic bets. Race 5 (9) YOU SAID IT finished off his latest mile at Flamboro in style and he picks up McNair here. He gets my nod. (7) PHIL THE THRILL is capable of better if he can get within range by the time they hit the 3/4 pole; using. (5) HIDDEN DELIGHT got picked off late last time by a rival who sat a perfect pocket trip throughout. He’s not out of this. (4) REAL WILLEY steps up off a narrow win, but his 27 1/5 kicker puts him in the mix. Race 6 (1) ALEXUS EH dropped almost five seconds last time in her 2nd consecutive win; call to repeat. (2) ALPHA SEELSTER took a good mark here last year and his last qualifier makes me think that a big speed try is coming. (8) ILLUSIONEESTA finally got the job done last time and she could take another here if she can get put into play early enough. (6) APPRENTICE M is worth a look for the bottom of Tris and Supers making her seasonal bow. She was an OSS Gold winner last year at 2. Race 7 (6) APOTHIC has been 2nd to two nice fillies in her last two starts. She looks best here, but will have to hold off (8) HELLO LOVE, who was an impressive debut winner. I’ll use both equally in the Pick 4s. (3) CAMPASSION looks next best and she should make the ticket here. (1) IVESEENTHEFUTURE gets what would normally be a big trainer change, but Moreau has been ice cold the past couple of weeks; your call. Race 8 (5) CANTABERNET beat a good one in his seasonal debut and he should be tough to beat here if he can replicate that mile. (1) ITS HALLRIGHT took her life’s mark here last year and she looks well-prepped for a good comeback effort; using. (3) LEGEND WITHIN missed more than a month off a win, but the one that he beat in that mile came back to win here on Monday. I’ll use underneath, but he is capable if ready. (4) BASTIANO moves into the Baillargeon barn off several wins in Quebec and he looks like the one to catch here. Race 9 (8) CARDIFF was a nice 2nd to a strong debut winner and he looks good vs. these. (5) DREAMS ON ME should be prominent early moving in a few posts and that makes her a contender here. (4) LADY GRANDE has some OSS Gold lines on her page that put her in the picture vs. these if she’s ready. (2) TWICE AS SPICY should leave in the top flight and hang around for a share. Race 10 (1) REAL SURREAL won easier than it appears on paper in his debut and I’ll stick with him here off that impressive mile. (7) TURBO HILL – flawless so far – is the one to catch. (6) TALBOTCREEKWHISKEY was picked off late, but he should revert to a more effective closing style here. I’ll use him in the late Pick 4. (3) SUPERSPORT can close for a slice vs. these; use underneath. (2) SPORTY MUSTANG is another that can follow along and take a slice.
