Best Bet: HIDDEN DELIGHT (10th) Spot Play: THIS IS MY SONG (6th) Race 1 - $50,000 Guaranteed Pick Five Pool Race 4 - $50,000 Guaranteed Pick Four Pool PICK 5: 3,6,8/1,4,5,6/7/1,2/1,2,3 = $14.40 EARLY PICK 4: 1,2/1,2,3/2,3,6/2,5 = $36 LATE PICK 4: 2,5/4/1,5,6/3 = $6 FINAL WOODBINE MEET STATS: 270 - 922 / $1,607.90  BEST BETS: 40 - 89 / $151.60 SPOT PLAYS: 28 - 89 / $230.50 Race 1 (8) MCKENNA HANOVER already won in this non-winners of one class and she just squeaks in under the earnings limit by $200. This is a good spot for her to bounce back. (6) LYONS HEDGEABET took action and raced well in her first start on the WEG circuit. She is the one to fend off late. (3) CABOWABOCUTTIE is worth a look off a solid effort last time. Henry, who usually gets off to a good start at Mohawk, sticks here. (1) ZAYRA BAYAMA is bred to be better than she has shown so far. Maybe she will wake up at this track where the turns are more gradual. Race 2 (6) COWBOYS DON'T CRY faces easier here and I get the feeling that Hudon will be more aggressive vs. this kind; slight nod. (1) I C TRUE GRIT has a similar profile as the choice and he should be prominent from the outset. (5) L DEES LUCA is worth a look going for trainer Waxman off the claim. (4) BROWN DIRT COWBOY adds Lasix and should improve enough to hit the ticket. Race 3 (7) ILLUSIONEESTA lays over this group in terms of both speed and class. The only worry is that she obviously has much bigger dances on her card this year and she may be driven conservatively here. (9) TYMAL TINO showed big speed and then crawled home in his latest qualifier. That could set him up for a big speed try here, though. (5) AERIAL FLIGHT raced okay last time after getting pounded at the windows and she can improve here too. (2) FAN THE FLAMES is coming around and he looks like a good one to use underneath here. Race 4 (2) ALLOVERAGAIN meets a field she should have no trouble with if she gets put into the race. (1) KUIL DEVA looks like a top contender, but she took a long time to win her second start and in many of those races she closed late after the winner was decided. (8) MAGICS LUCKY CHARM races well every time and she should hit the board here despite being saddled with an outer post. (4) LABERO is racing better, but he is best used on the bottom stepping up in class. Race 5 (1) SOUTHWIND MORROCAN appears to be back on track looking at his two qualifying lines and he attracts the leading driver here, so he gets my nod. (2) STOLEN ART figures to get a much better trip here which makes him a leading contender. (3) EASY WRITER - a $43K Harrisburg purchase - is worth a look here in what doesn't appear to be a tough spot for his debut. (5) REAL WILLEY looks like he is coming around and he could better this prediction if he reproduces his most recent effort. Race 6 (6) THIS IS MY SONG took his life's mark over this track last year and coming off an improved effort, I expect him to be sent hard for good position off the gate this time; top call. (3) HES A SENSATION is always a threat at this level and this is his favorite track; using. (2) ROSE RUN SLIDER faces easier and it's possible that he could wake up here with a much better try. (5) KOULTONS ROCKET is an in-and-outer that can pop up with a better try in a race like this. Race 7 (2) TWOFOURROADIE was moving well late last time vs. a winner that came back to repeat on Monday night. He has a good shot here. (5) SICARIO was beat by a promising looking colt last time and he loses nothing off that narrow loss. He is a must-use for me. (9) REGAL MAGICIAN will be closing from far back as usual, but trip and pace will likely relegate him to a small share vs. these. (6) OCEANVIEW DEB is one of few Moreau trainees that hasn't won recently, but her price this time might make her playable. Race 8 (4) BEACHIN LINDY continues his assault in the conditioned ranks and he should have no trouble taking another. (2) SHADOW OF LINDY drops and he has already won at this level. He looks next best. (7) SHARP ACTION MONEY has the speed to go with the choice, but he will likely be raced from behind here and close for a small share. (3) LIFE HAPPENED is in solid form, but these are tougher and he is likely to finish on the edges. Race 9 (5) ARTMONDIA goes for new connections here and they are capable of moving one up sharply in its first start for the barn; top call. (6) FERN HILL BREEZE has been on a roll at Flamboro and this isn't a tough spot for his Mohawk debut; using. (1) REAL WICKED was a solid third in this class at Woodbine two starts back then had a rough trip at Flamboro. He rates a long look here. (4) BOOTS N BRIAN has some ability when he minds his manners. He can hit the ticket if he stays flat. Race 10 (3) HIDDEN DELIGHT comes off a sharp win where he weaved through traffic when full of pace late in the mile. He should get a less adventurous trip up front here. (4) THE DOWNTOWN BUS was right there vs. the choice, but he is stuck on one win and his racing style often leaves him at the mercy of pace and trip. (5) BRANDON HANOVER steps up off an easy win and he should be heard from here, but he would need to improve again to knock off the choice. (10) IMSTAYNALIVE has obvious talent, but this is a tough spot to start from in his sophomore debut; small share predicted. (1) WEBMASTER HANOVER can take another slice in this spot racing covered up most of the way. [DRF HARNESS NEWSLETTER: Sign Up for the FREE DRF Harness Newsletter.
