(5) HIS BOY ELROY is another stalker who should be coming late here; using. (4) IDEAL JET moves up off a dominant win, but he may get stung early this time. He loves this track though, and the thick summer air. (2) ADORE HIM was sharp in victory at London and he’s worth a look. Race 2 (2) TALBOT ROMEO is simply faster than these right now and he should convert at another short price. (3) OLLIESTRIKESFAME had no shot against an emerging monster last time, but he should make the Tri here. (5) DRUNKONAPLANE was overdriven early in London and he paid for it late in the mile. He should go better here. (1) THIS IS MY SONG faces tougher coming off a win and a smaller share is likely. Race 3 (5) LAWRENCETOWN BEACH shows two sub-1:50 miles in his past three starts and he may just be faster than these. (8) MISO FAST had two 9-holes and an 11-hole for posts in his past three starts. The 8-hole here probably is better, and he is a contender. (4) FUNKNWAFFLES is due to wake up and he should provide a better try here. (6) DREAMFAIR B J is worth a look off his 25 4/5 kicker last time. Race 4 (2) ROCKIN IN HEAVEN gets a big driver change here and drops in class level. I would expect to see an aggressive try here. (5) MAGNUM J lands in a good spot to kick off his year and I expect him to contend vs. these; using. (4) HURRICANE BEACH steps up off an easy front-end score, but it’s unlikely he will get the same trip here. (1) BET ON BRETT figures to get a decent following trip here to land a share. Race 5 (10) SUMMER TRAVEL got back on track last time and he should beat these with a reasonable trip. (7) NUTCRACKER SWEET had a decent opening effort at Pocono. He appears to be the main danger here and he should be driven with more purpose. (8) SIMPLE KINDA MAN couldn’t go with the speedy Backstreet Shadow late in the mile at Flamboro. He can hit the board here, but it’s doubtful he will threaten the top two. (2) GRAND TETON is worth a look on connections alone. There are worse stabs that you could take. Race 6 (5) SHADES OF BAY took a week off, perhaps to try to correct his drifting issue in the lane. If he can repeat his  May 19th mile, he’ll be tough here. (3) MONGOLIAN HERO N flies home every week and one of these times his trip will be good enough that he passes them all. I’ll use him in this Pick 4. (8) AMERICAN VIRGIN drops and merits Pick 4 use, but he’s no lock here. (4) ASAP HANOVER is in solid form and he can take a share. Race 7 (2) ARIANA G had no issues in the slop in her 2018 debut and she should continue her winning ways here. (7) ACHILLES DUHARAS has turned into a very good horse quickly and he can provide a challenge here. (8) DUNBAR HALL is worth a look for the Tri at least racing on his home turf. (10) INTERNATIONAL MONI is obviously one of the better ones in here, but from this post, I’ll try to beat him out of the trifecta. Race 8 (5) LATHER UP looks like he could be a special racehorse and he likely jogs here at 1/9 on his way to the North America Cup elims next week. (6) WESTERN PASSAGE was solid winning first-up at Flamboro but the waters get much deeper here. He can complete a chalky exacta. (8) PRO BEACH and (7) ST LADS NEPTUNE look most logical to fill out the Superfecta. Race 9 (1) BLOOD LINE took a new life’s mark last time and he stands a good chance of controlling this race with an early move to the front. (7) EDDARD HANOVER paced a big mile uncovered on the rim in the Confederation Cup final. He should be the main threat to the choice. (3) BECKHAMS Z TAM exits a very fast mile and he should be closer vs. these.  (4) ODDS ON DELRAY can improve here with a better trip; using underneath. Race 10 (7) JIMMY FREIGHT has been outstanding in his past two starts and while he faces a big test here, he may be up to it. (3) LOST IN TIME won the Metro Stakes here last year and he is obviously the one to knock off. (4) CHOCOLATE SWIRL can close for a piece of this; use underneath. (1) PEDRO HANOVER could wake up at any time, but he hasn’t shown much so far this year, so I’ll hope to keep him out of the Trifecta here to add value. Race 11 (5) EXTERNAL has been producing a wicked late kick for driver McClure and he gets top billing. (1) LONDON SEELSTER closed to be second to the likely North America Cup favorite. He merits a long look here. (6) BIG BANG BOOM gets faster every week and he will have to be caught here. (3) HUMBOLDT should be better racing from an improved post. He can take a slice. Race 12 (2) IMSPORTY is in solid form and he can beat these if he’s close enough at the head of the lane. (5) NICKLE BAG has reached his best form and the way he has been racing, he’s the one to beat here. (8) ROCK THIS WAY can fly home. He’s a threat here if he can work out a decent trip. (3) MACHAL JORDAN should pick up another slice vs. these. (10) JINS SHARK is hampered by post here, but he can close for a share.
