His first 2018 start chasing the swift Jimmy Freight at Flamboro on Sunday should have him tight for a good try here. (4) ALBERGO HANOVER flew home last week to keep a decent rival at bay and if he is allowed to steal a breather here, he will be tough again. (2) CHOCOLATE SWIRL passed the choice in the stretch on Sunday and he is likely leaving this time and that puts him in the mix. (5) ATOMIC SEELSTER is another with a good recent race that has a shot in a race full of possibilities. Race 2 (5) SHADOW MOON had no shot sitting behind a 58 1/5 half at Flamboro. He should be top dog here if he gets put into the race early. (4) RED JOHN had a big class edge last week and he easily dispatched his foes in a fast mile. He's a must-use here. (3) DREAMFAIR B J is rounding into form and note that he paced a life's best 1:49 2/5 mile here last year. (6) ROCK THIS WAY is competitive here, but I'm not sure what trip to expect with him leaving from the outermost post. Race 3 (6) MODERN REFLECTION drops and stands a good chance to pop here if he blasts early. (2) JINS SHARK seems obvious off his most recent try, but notice in 4 of his last 6 starts, he has been beaten at 3/5, even money and 6/5 (twice). Your call.  (4) COOL ROCK was held up by terrible cover last week and he still almost got there. He is sharp and dangerous. (1) MACHAL JORDAN - the game veteran - figures to take a slice here off a following trip. Race 4 (2) MITT JAGGER was game and stubborn in defeat last week and he deserves top call here. (3) E L WILD SPIRIT takes a big drop and he is sure to make his presence felt. (1) SUNNY BEACH DAY was in an impossible spot last week but he can get a better trip here and threaten. (5) THIS IS MY SONG fits well in these lower conditioned classes and he should share again. Race 5 (8) IDEAL JET takes a plunge here and a big speed try has to be coming. (3) AMERICAN WIGGLE had an impossible trip at Flamboro. He is in with a better shot here. (2) SPEEDLING also drops and he is sure to be up near the lead throughout; using. (4) ROCK N FANTASY was a game winner a class lower but this is a much tougher spot; smaller share predicted for him. Race 6 (3) MONGOLIAN HERO N remarkably didn't come close to getting a check despite pacing a 53 1/5 back 1/2 last week. He is sharp and he drops into a likely spot here. (1) BLATANTLY BEST is another who drops and he is sure to blast off from the inside. (6) FINE DIAMOND drops too, but his wins are infrequent and he will take money here. I'll play to beat him. (2) ASAP HANOVER was 2nd to a very sharp foe last week and he should trip out near the front here and hit the board. Race 7 (7) TALBOT ROMEO paced his eyeballs out last week, but the classy  leader was unwavering and he couldn't get by. He gets a slight nod in an interesting race with several nice colts lining up. (5) HIDDEN DELIGHT was in a similar spot as the choice last week trying to chase a leader that was flying in the final 1/4. Toss him on Pick 4 tickets. (9) BEACHIN LINDY beat a colt that came right back to win an OSS Gold at Flamboro on Sunday. He can't be discounted here. (8) WHEN YOU DANCE steps up off a career-best performance but he may have his hands full with the top three. Race 8 (4) NICKLE BAG seems to have his mojo back in his past two starts and the step up here isn't that steep; call to repeat. (1) VELOCITY DRIVEN should get a decent trip and the short field helps here; using. (2) MAJOR HILL should get positioned near the front early leaving from an inside post and that puts him in the mix here. (7) MAKE SOME LUCK raced hard vs. a classy foe last time. He should be able to grab a share vs. these. Race 9 (1) OLLIESTRIKESFAME was first up in an impossible spot as the top two were sprinting away to a :26 2/5 kicker. This is a better spot and J Mac will probably find him a helmet to follow out in the flow; top call. (5) FREDDY BEAR drops after also being in an impossible spot and he is another that can turn things around here. (9) LATHER UP will have to be caught coming off a stellar 1:50 flat performance, but he has obvious bigger fish to fry, so I'm not sure I'd take a short price on him here. (4) TOPVILLE OLYMPIAN has been flying home in his qualifiers and he's another possibility here. Race 10 (6) SINTRA kicks off his five-year-old campaign in a good spot. His only worry might be (3) NIRVANA SEELSTER getting away from him on the lead. I'll use both in the late Pick 4 and give Sintra the nod on class. (5) ELLIS PARK can rebound here and close for a slice. (4) FOOL ME ONCE looks next best and he will likely challenge Ellis Park for third. Race 11 (1) AMERICAN CHEER drops after showing some late interest a class higher and Zeron should put her into action earlier; top call. (7) NAUGHTY LADY B raced tough first up vs. a tough mare. She fits here. (3) BAD NIGHT MARE's race here two starts back puts her right there with these; respect. (8) KIWI FOCUS N has a shot if Hudon blasts her off the gate, but from out there it's a guessing game. (2) TWENTY THREE RED can follow along and take a small share here.
