(1) E L WILD SPIRIT was motoring late last time and he has been pretty good since being claimed three starts back; using. (5) ERLE DALE N faltered late last time and Moreau seems to be tailing off a bit lately; your call. Race 3 (3) CARMENS FLUKE is a fresh claim being sent out by a trainer who has won 3 of his last 4 starts and has finished in the money in all of his last 10 starts; top call. (7) HONOR ABOVE ALL and (1) MARQUIS VOLO both come up tagged for the first time in their careers and they obviously fit here, but they should also take plenty of action which should boost the choice's price. (9) FRENCH BASTILLE was 2nd last time he raced with a tag. He can hit this ticket. Race 4 (6) J J MYSTIC STORM moves up in class off the claim, but he's never been better and he goes for the top barn here; slight nod. (5) GILLYS BOY should get a much better trip here moving to a post in the middle of the gate; using. (6) WESTERN PHIL was a solid third in his first start for Moreau. He should be in the mix here. (9) PENZANCE HANOVER had a good tightener and he can add some value to the exotics here. Race 6 (1) MIGHTY NICKY rallied strongly last week, but the predictable winner was long gone. He should be able to lay a bit closer here and start his move earlier. (6) JAKE is the class of this field and he will be tough if he's ready. (2) DANCER HALL had a good year in 2017 and based on his lone qualifier, he looks ready to pick up where he left off. (5) UPVOTE HANOVER can close for another slice here. Race 7 (2) MACHAL JORDAN, a drop-and-pop specialist, gets class relief and a much better post here; top call. (4) CLASSY DRAGON also drops after chasing a 1:50 flat winner. He should have more luck vs. these. (6) VELOCITY DRIVEN will probably revert to a closing style here, which gives him a better chance. (1) SINGLE WHITE SOCK steps up off a solid effort and he should be able to share here starting from the inside. Race 8 (6) MONGOLIAN HERO N was the worst-kept secret around when he won at 6/5 in his local debut. He was so impressive then that I'll stick with him here. (3) IDEAL JET drops slightly and he has won several races in the past when dropping one level; using. (7) PHYSICALLYINCLINED will likely get bet heavily dropping from the top class here. He is capable, but also beatable. (5) PISTON BROKE figures to be coming late for a small share. Race 9 (8) EASY LOVER HANOVER kicked off his 5-year-old campaign with a strong sub-1:50 win. More of the same is likely coming here. (4) SHADES OF BAY steps up off a career-best mile and if he blasts early and lands in the choice's pocket, he can complete this exacta. (1) MODERN REFLECTION has been like a new horse in Moreau's barn. He's worth a look for the exotics here. (7) NIRVANA SEELSTER is a tough old gelding that rarely misses the board. He's hard to leave out of trifecta bets. Race 10 (6) FOREVER LIZA didn't disappoint chalk bettors when she easily converted at odds of 1/5. These are tougher, but she can take them with a decent setup. (2) SHEWEARSTHEPANTS just wins and she enters the top barn here for her 2018 debut; using.
