(4) FLY FLY SELENA is worth a look off her 27 1/5 kicker on May 18th. (3) WILL CAN GO was in stakes company most of last year. He should appreciate racing against maidens here. (5) UVIE HANOVER can improve here going for top connections. Race 2 In this amateur drivers race where it appears there is very little gate speed signed on, I'll stab with (7) DUH BUBBEES, who was good in his qualifier and adds Lasix. (3) ADVERSITY faces easier for a veteran driver here and he is a must-use for me. (2) BLAMEITONTHEWHISKY is another with early speed who can be right there if he behaves. (4) BOP TO THE TOP gets Modern Legend's trainer in the bike here, which is interesting. She can take a slice at a price. Race 3 (6) HOBOKEN HANOVER has been great since the claim and he could get a good setup here; slight nod. (4) LIVELY FREDDIE drops and he should be tough in this class. (1) TOMY TERROR raced like a horse possessed last week when claimed, but I'm not sure he brings that same race to the track tonight. (7) BIG PETES STYLE is worth using on the class drop here. Race 4 (5) CRESURREY was beaten by a class-dropping chalk last time in a good effort and he gets my nod here. (7) MAJESTIC PRESENCE is in easier here and she's won from outer posts many times in the past; using. (3) MAGIC NIGHT was good here last year and she could pop right away shipping in and picking up Roy. (4) WHISKEY TAX is a classy veteran who was beaten by a mare in his qualifier who came right out and won a stake. He can hit the board here. Race 5 This race has the looks of one that will fall apart late, so I'll side with stout closer (6) PRINCE GIOVANNI who gets a better post this time. (1) THINK AGAIN usually needs some luck in the lane, and he might just get it here at a price. (4) NEEDLECREST is another closer who gets a better post here and he is another who should be in the mix at the wire. (5) BIG BANG BOOM may not get an easy lead this time, but I'll stick him in the Pick 4 so I have one leaver on the ticket in case I'm wrong. Race 6 (4) STORMONT VENTNOR produced a powerful rush to defeat elders on May 17th, which should set him up perfectly for this sires stakes try. He should be a square price, too; top call. (1) JOEY BATS has been impressive in his last two wins and he is a contender here, but the choice beat much better horses in his most recent start. (9) DRAFT YEAR got hot at the end of last year and he should be a contender from close range here. (6) T BARRR flew home to beat easier, but notice he finished second to Draft Year in the Superfinal last year. Race 7 (7) JENKINS CREEK raced a bit better last time vs. much tougher. He may control this race from start to finish. (5) ROCKIN RONNIE couldn't make any headway in a very fast final 1/4 last week. He should do better here. (6) CURIOUS PHOENIX has been a solid check earner at the B tracks. He could spice up the exotics payoffs here. (8) SINGHAMPTON KENNY is another B track veteran to consider using underneath at a price here. Race 8 (6) DANCER HALL was beaten only by post position last week. Moving to the 6-hole should make him tough to beat here. (9) O NARUTAC PERFETTO produced an incredible 25 3/5 kicker to sail by them all, but the question is, could he do it again a week later? (1) FREE WILLY HANOVER looks like he is in a spot where he will take another smaller share. (10) RENEGADE MAGIC had no response for O Narutac Perfetto's wicked late brush last time, but she could get ignored at the windows here and she's capable of hitting the ticket. Race 9 (1) WINNING AMERICAN appeared to have plenty in reserve last week when he got a feel for the track and was hardly used to beat easier. I'll give him the nod here over (3) PERFETTO, who will likely be odds on, but has had some gait issues in the past. (2) TINAS MAJESTY has really come around for Henriksen, but he may find the top two a bit too tough here; smaller share predicted. (9) SPRING HOLIDAY looked like a good one earlier this spring, but I'm not sure at this point he can produce the speed required to beat these. Race 10 (3) MRSTERY BEAR was trapped in behind the fading leader until it was too late last week and once free, she had no chance of catching the winner who had already surged by on the far outside. This mare is sharp and she beats these with a decent trip. (5) THE BACK NINE broke, still won, then was required to re-qualify. He is the one to beat if he stays trotting. (4) HAB FAITH doesn't have to face Joey Bats here, so that gives her a fighting chance despite her 1-18 record. (10) TO HILL AND BACK is one I would consider using on the bottom. He should be passing some horses down the lane. Race 11 (6) STORMONT KATE drops a level making her fourth start back and owner/trainer/driver Richardson may impose his will early here and take no prisoners; top call. (4) BUZZ has been learning to come from off the pace and he could get a good setup here; using. (3) TALBOTCREEK SUZIE has been hot since the Shepherd claim, but she is unlikely to be allowed to control this race which could lead to a much different result. (5) SETANTA should be a late threat if he stays flat. (2) GREAT MAGIC is a good one to use underneath in this spot. [DRF HARNESS NEWSLETTER: Sign Up for the FREE DRF Harness Newsletter.
