GRANTMEAWISH (NW1) tucked early, pulled to the half, chase uncovered and was second best to odds-on winner.  LUCYS MAN (NW3) went down the road and gamed-out a second-place finish getting knocked off by the favorite.  SON OF ZEUS (NW2) sat in, saved ground,wiggled through heavy traffic, cleared late and closed a ton but just missed. Friday, May 25 ART ANGEL BABY (NW10000FM) pulled past the quarter, rushed up wide passing unwanted covered, challenged the favorite, could not clear, tired. Properly timed move like that wins the prize. TIKI TAKA (NW3) beaten favorite was third over with a game finish but had a bit too far to come. MYSTICAL MISSION (NW6800) was buried to the lane, slipped out, found room and closed best once into gear but ran out of track. NOW WHAT HANOVER (CLMHCP15/18000) trailed to the lane, followed wide, exploded home but just missed. I C TRUE GRIT (CLMHCP15/18000) was blindswitched badly heading home, angled out late and finished stoutly. Saturday, May 26 ROCK N FANTASY (NW6000) had a long way to come on a night when speed ruled and had to rally wide around poor cover. A better trip will bring him home. MACHAL JORDAN (NW10000) finished full of pacce at 12-1 and earns a long look in next. ASAP HANOVER (NW16000) was second over to poor cover, came wide with a strong finish. MONGOLIAN HERO N (NW16000) was third over in a poor flow of traffic. Beaten favorite finished with good energy and can score with a better trip. LATHER UP (NW5) rushed to the top, set a pressed pace and drew away impressively. Monday, May 28 BANG BANG BOOM (CLMHCP18/25000) beat the field, the variant and the bias en route to being the only wire to wire winner in last and has to be respected in next. R FIRST CLASS (NW17000) closed strong from the far back in last and has to be considered in the near future. MAGICAL LADY (NW2) put in a good down the road effort holding gamely at 38-1. Can get luckier in next effort. IMF (NW1) left, tucked, pulled and went to the top, proved seccond best as the late closing odds-on favorite closed strongly.
