The post difference could tip the scales in his favor this time. (9) FERN HILL BREEZE fits this class perfectly and his trainer has been on fire recently. He's a must-use. (8) MASTER ELEMENT can roll up late and round out the Tri again in what looks like a predictable opener. (3) REAL WICKED is the other one who figures to round out the exotics. Race 2 (5) TIKI TAKA hung a bit late in the mile last time, but that may have been a product of the final 1/4 being a shade faster. He can bounce back here. (4) ESQUIRE is capable if he is within range at the head of the lane here; using. (6) SCOTTIES SPIRIT set a new life's mark in her May 21 qualifier which makes her interesting here. She's one I'll also use. (2) GIVE ANGEL CREDIT should be close to the lead early here. He can stick around for a slice. Race 3 (6) JAN has beaten some good fillies easily in both starts this year and she should keep her roll going here. (1) ROCKN OPIUM is the only possible upsetter I can see here, and that's if she can land in Jan's pocket at the start and trip out. (7) MANHATTAN PLAY has been one paced vs. some decent ones recently. She should share here. (3) ASKMYSECRETARY should be leaving with McNair back at the controls. She can take a slice here. Race 4 (4) REIS STAR CROSS gets major post relief here and she drops in class. She should be tough if she gets a reasonable trip. (1) PARTY BEACH won in this class two back, then faced much tougher. I'll use her this time. (8) BERNADETTE fires home quickly every week. She can get there if everything shakes out the right way. (3) SHEWEARSTHEPANTS drops and she can last longer here, but she may also get overbet. Race 5 (7) SOS BAMBIE fared okay against a tough filly last time considering she paced a 56-flat middle half while challenging. This should be an easier spot; top call. (3) VILLAGE JAMIE drops a couple of class levels here and a big speed try from her wouldn't surprise me. (4) NICHE BLUE CHIP has improving form and is one that could threaten here if driven more aggressively. (5) I C ANASTRO is always around at the finish when racing at this level. She can share here. Race 6 (7) NATURAL KEMP moves into a white-hot barn and comes up tagged here, and he gets McNair. All those factors should add up to a top try. (9) MEGO MOSS comes back quickly and faces much easier. He should be a big threat. (2) CARMENS FLUKE raced once in a high percentage barn, then missed four weeks. I don't love the time off, but I won't let him kill my Pick 4 ticket, either. (8) CLASS ME NICE can stick around for a slice after leaving in the top flight. Race 7 (6) CLEAR IDEA lacked room in the lane until it was too late last week. She can beat these with a better trip. (7) SANDBETWEENURTOES got some air last week which should make her tighter for her third start back. With her, it's only a matter of when she clicks, not if. (5) P L HURRICANE is the hot horse; hard to leave out of Tri bets. (9) ARTISTIC MADISON is obviously sharp, but post could be the factor that relegates her to a smaller share here. Race 8 (4) WESMONT keeps firing off quick final quarters. Moving to a better post, I expect FIlion to send him this time. (7) SLIP INTO GLIDE was a disappointment last week, but that was a quick mile and he can bounce back here. (3) MYSTICAL MISSION comes off a big win, but these are tougher, and he will more likely be closing late for a share here. (5) MANOFMANYIMAGES is another closer that should be used underneath in this spot. Race 9 (5) CAROLINA CHERRY went a tough trip only to be picked off by a deep-closing longshot. A repeat of that effort puts her right there vs. these. (2) E R RHONDA can get another good trip here and she sill likely be the one to fend off late. (4) REYS IN A ROCKET is always around the money, but rarely wins; small share predicted. (6) QUEENOFTHEJUNGLE raced decently on Sunday at Flamboro, but the top two had broken away from the field when she started her move. She can pass some of these and crash the exotics. Race 10 (8) MACH DEJA VU faces way easier here and he should get put into action early; top call. (5) SHOE SHINE was taken from a sharp win by a stable that can move one up; using in the late Pick 4. (2) UF BETTORS HANOVER was given a good steer to win Sunday and if there is a pace battle here, watch for him late. (4) BANK SHOT HANOVER is a speed threat who will likely end up on the edges at the wire. Race 11 (8) REIKI imposed his will early last time, parking all comers from the inside post, which isn't the easiest feat on this track. Post 8 might be better for him; call to repeat. (6) I C TRUE GRIT is the one that was hung the mile by the choice. He could land in his pocket, which gives him a shot here. (5) SIX FLAGS has been taking shares regularly in this class and he figures to hit the ticket again. (10) DEEPFAVE HANOVER was out a long way when 2nd to the choice last time, but from post 10, his trip might be even worse here. I'll use underneath, if at all. (7) JDCYRIL woke up last time with the driver switch to McNair. He could better this placing if he can work out a decent trip. [DRF HARNESS NEWSLETTER: Sign Up for the FREE DRF Harness Newsletter.
