He looks best here. (8) COWBOYS DONT CRY had a brutal trip in the same race but he should be able to blast past most if not all of these when the gate lets them go, and that makes him dangerous here. (3) CAMMANDER RUFF should sit a decent trip near the front here and stick for a share. (4) BOOTS N BRIAN has two races in this class here in April that show he can factor for a share. Race 2 (5) TALBOTCREEK SUZIE was terrific off the claim and she looks like a short-priced repeater here. (2) JUSTASMALLTOWNGIRL is in good form and the most likely to complete the exacta here. (3) JILONA had a solid campaign here last season and she should start out with a board finish here. (4) DOTTIE is a good bomb to use underneath to add value to the exotics here. Race 3 (7) SODWANA BAY was a solid 2nd to a sharp mare who came back three days later to win in the second highest class at London. She should prove best here if she can work out a decent trip. (3) JORDIES HOPE should get an easier time up front here which makes her a bounce-back candidate. (5) REYS IN A ROCKET can't seem to beat Jordies Hope, but she should be in the mix in this small field. (1) ER RHONDA was just behind the choice last time. She should make the ticket here. Race 4 (4) UBETTERGO GO is hard to go against when she qualifies much faster than her rivals have been racing. She's a short-priced single for me. (6) JAN was solid in her season's debut. If any of them is going to knock off the choice, it's her. (8) NASTY RUMOUR had a good year last year and she's worth a look for the bottom of the exotics at a price. (5) BLACK JACK PAT should be closing late and she's another to use on the bottom here. Race 5 (3) AMERICAN SARA looked like a winner until the last couple of strides last week. A similar effort can get the job done here. (1) AMERICAN CHEER put up some big fractions last time in a sharp try and she's a contender here. (6) BERNADETTE wasn't far behind the choice last week. She's a closer in with a shot here. (2) ART ANGEL BABY was decent last time at a big price; consider for the exotics here. Race 6 (2) SLIP INTO GLIDE had a solid opener and he should get put into play earlier here; top call. (8) ADVERSITY's late kick should play well vs. this slightly easier group; using. (7) CLASS ME NICE raced much better with hot pilot McClure driving last time. He is a contender in here. (3) TOUCHDOWN AS disappointed last week when overtaken late by a rival that had broke at the start. A smaller share is probably his ceiling here. Race 7 (3) IC ANASTRO has been good racing free-legged the past two starts and she can break through here with a decent trip expected. (4) KAYS SHADOW should improve sharply being the only class-dropper in this field. If she gets a breather up front, she could be gone. (6) CAROLINA CHERRY exits a highly-rated claiming race and she's not out of this. She should be a square price here, too. (5) NICHE BLUE CHIP can be much closer here leaving from a better post; consider using underneath. Race 8 (1) MARQUIS VOLO gets the nod here going for a top trotting barn off the claim. (6) STIRLING BOUDICA goes back to the Shepherd barn after a one-race absence and she is a must-use for me in the late Pick 4. (7) THE POWER OF MANY raced okay last time in a quick mile. She has some upset potential here. (5) JUSTCALLMERONALD can close late and take a small piece. Race 9 (7) LYONS RIVER PRIDE went a big trip off the shelf last week and she finished 12 lengths ahead of the mare that she battled out the opening quarter with. She has a big shot here and should be a square price. (3) ALEXIS FAITH is a top New York Sires Stakes filly, but she may get overbet here in a spot that is no gimme. (1) MACH THE CUT has come back on fire and she's another you can't toss here. (8) RUBIS PRESCOTT drops from the top class and is an obvious contender, but she may offer no value in the win pool in a race with at least four legitimate contenders. Race 10 In a race with little form, I'll give a slight nod to class-dropper (8) BLAMEITONTHEWHISKY, who should be forwardly-placed at the start. (7) MANOFMANYIMAGES raced better last time and is another who should be leaving for position near the front. (2) ONE OF THE FEW also faces easier and should be heard from here. (9) APLOMB HANOVER is worth a look on the barn change alone here. Race 11 (2) BETTORS UP got stuck inside and had no shot last week as the winner got away in early stretch. She can make amends here if driven more aggressively. (7) CLEAR IDEA looked good beating the choice and she's the one to beat here. (8) P L HURRICANE tripped out to an easy win last week, but these are tougher; smaller share predicted. (4) SANDBTWEENURTOES can pop up with a big race anytime, but she may need another before showing her best. Race 12 (8) KIWI FOCUS N was a strong winner last week despite drifting out several lanes in the stretch drive. I'll stick with her. (9) HOT SPOT HANOVER should be prominent on the class drop here; using. (3) TEARFUL OF HAPPY should be good for another board finish starting from the inside here. (2) MANHATTAN PLAY drops to a level where she is usually competitive. (1) CUT AND PASTE took some strange heavy action last time, but never got close. A smaller share seems likely again.
