The short field here helps her; top call. (5) JORDIES HOPE took a new life's mark last time when beating the choice and she's the one to chase down here. (1) E R RHONDA has hit her best form and she's another in with a decent chance in the opener. (2) SODWANA BAY is always around at the finish at this level; use underneath. Race 2 (3) AIR GLIDER and (4) STIRLING BOUDICA look like the two main contenders here on paper. I'll give the former the nod based on his winning performance off the Moreau claim last week, but use both in the Pick 5. (6) THE POWER OF MANY is capable of much better than she showed last week and trainer Puddy has been doing well at this meet; consider for exotics. (1) LABATT HANOVER can follow along and hang on for a small share. Race 3 (1) SOUTHWIND TESLA has been terrific since returning from her winter break and she meets another group that she should beat. (3) HIGHLAND TOP HILL trotted a strong mile but she was no match for the winner late. Her consistent strong efforts should be respected, however. (2) P L JILL was rough for most of her last mile but still managed to reach up late. She has obvious talent, but is risky most nights. (4) READY ANY TIME moves up off a blowout win, but these are much tougher and a small share is likely her ceiling here. Race 4 (1) WRITE ME A SONG returned in sharp form and was an easy winner over (3) CAMPASSION after taking over from that rival at the 3/8ths pole. These two will likely settle this again, with the nod going to the former who looked strong last week. (5) APOTHIC came too late last time, but she may not have caught the undefeated leader anyway. She is the third contender that can win this. (2) THAT'S WHAT I SAID meets much tougher here off a nice maiden win; use underneath. Race 5 (1) WINDSONGMAGNIFIQUE projects to get a good trip on or near the lead here after a decent effort from an outer post last time; top call. (5) PRETTY HOT raced great last week, but she was no match for the 1/5 favorite late in the mile. She rates highly in this field. (2) NAUGHTY LADY B is a multi-race must-use taking a notable class drop, but I wouldn't take a small price on her in the win pool. (4) SHEZAREALDEAL will likely be overbet here off a decent effort last time. I prefer to use her underneath. Race 6 (6) TWIN B PEACHES has raced tough in both wins and she looks good to triple up here before her stakes season begins. (2) GLANCEWITHME should start much better here leaving from the inside and that puts her in the mix; using. (5) BEACH GODDESS is a bit of a hit-or-miss prospect, but her best effort puts her right there with these. (3) PLAY WITH PASSION can trip out and take a slice here. Race 7 (9) ABSOLUT SEELSTER takes a huge class plunge here and team Baillargeon doesn't fool around in these types of situations; coast-to-coast. (5) DEWEYKEEPUMNWHY was very good in his first start for trainer Hudon, who specializes in fixing up trotters. I'll use him in the Pick 4's. (4) GREAT MAGIC typically looks for a trip and he rarely misses a check; use underneath. (6) MANOFMANYIMAGES is competitive in this class, but he may find a couple of these too tough here. Race 8 (1) CIRCLE THE PAGE has the unenviable task of facing the Moreau duo here, but she was so good last week over this track that Henry may send her and take no prisoners; slight nod. (3) WITCH DALI shoots for four straight in the top class here and she's the one to beat again. (5) P L HURRICANE tries hard every week and almost always hits the board. Use her underneath here. (4) MS MAC N CHEESE is another that is right in the mix every week, but she might be tailing off a bit; smaller share predicted. Race 9 (4) ART ANGEL BABY made two moves last week then stopped when facing better. She should be tough here facing easier. (3) CAYO LOCO is showing some signs of improvement and she could jump up here and upset if the early pace is honest. (6) JUSTABIT MEAN produced a strong first up effort last week and she is in the mix here, although she rarely wins. (2) OK JASMINE is worth a look shipping in and moving into the Shepherd barn. Race 10 (1) ROCKN OPIUM raced tough first over last time, getting beat by only the favorite whom she provided perfect cover for. I'll give her the nod here. (6) DONTBRUISECARRIE was first off the gate last week, then took a shuffle. She can be right there if she blasts again here. (7) KAYS SHADOW drops and will likely get sent early; using. (8) CUT AND PASTE was decent in her Mohawk Park debut and she can take another share here. (3) MANHATTAN PLAY has improving form and she can follow along and take a share vs. these.
