(2) BEACH GODDESS raced much better last time but has now missed a month and she can be erratic. Maybe the connections saved her for Mohawk where she should pace steadier on the sweeping turns. (4) GLANCEWITHME disappointed as chalk, but she gets the leading driver here which could mean a more aggressive try is coming. (8) PRINCESS JEWELS will likely be blasting off early, but she is unlikely to stick for more than a smaller share. Race 2 (6) AMOREUSE HANOVER makes her third start back, drops in class and comes back in 7 days this time. I'll give her the nod here. (1) IONIA was loaded two starts back with no room then moved up too high. She has a better shot here. (7) READY ANY TIME took her life mark here last year and she is another that can threaten from close range here. (5) ROSESAREEXPLOSIVE will be there early, but likely land on the edges at the finish. Race 3 (1) WITCH DALI is hot now and she should be very tough here drawing inside. (5) P L HURRICANE was buried with pace last week. She can win this if she lands in the pocket early. (6) MS MAC N CHEESE is always right there in this class and she's one that is hard to leave out of the Pick 5 here. (2) EXHILARATED steps up off a sharp win, but she is usually a fringe player when she races at this level. Race 4 (4) SHADOW WORLD was good in her sophomore debut, closing a big gap from the 1/2 to the wire. A better start could see her upset these. (5) QUITE A SIGHT blasted off the gate from the outside and never looked back when beating the choice. She is sharp and the one to catch. (7) APOTHIC is another promising filly that returned ready for action and I'll add her to multi-race tickets here. (6) LIFELONG DREAM outraced her odds when 2nd to Quite A Sight and she is worth using underneath here. Race 5 (8) PARTY BEACH has been in the mix all year and she need only be within striking range at the head of the lane to have a good chance here; slight nod. (1) SHEZAREALDEAL figures to be prominent throughout here and she could break the goose egg in the win column in this spot. (4) SKYFALL SENA figures to be more aggressive early here with the move to an inside post; using. (5) ARTISTIC MADISON rarely wins now, but she should be able to close for a piece of this. Race 6 (2) MAJESTIC PRESENCE loves this track and she projects to get a good trip near the front here. She gets top call. (7) RENEGADE MAGIC was motoring late last week, and she fits well here. Maybe Henry will send her this time. (1) MAJOR MUSCLE is always a speed threat and she can get brave on the last turn if she gets a breather. (5) HIGHLAND TOP HILL has missed a month, so I expect a small slice to be her ceiling here. Race 7 (6) EVERY TIME dropped and popped last time. A repeat and a claim are two strong possibilities here. (4) SODWANA BAY has been no match for a strong Moreau trainee twice straight, but she could give the choice a run for her money here. (2) E R RHONDA got a perfect set up last time that is unlikely to be repeated here, but she can close for a slice in this spot. (9) BAD NIGHT MARE was hung the route when claimed last time. I suspect she'll drop back then make a late charge for a share here. Race 8 (8) STIRLING BOUDICA trotted a big mile last time and she was outsprinted late by the pocket-sitter who had done less work in the opening 15/16ths of a mile. She should be tough here if provided with a reasonable trip. (7) THE POWER OF MANY drops back to the claimed level where she is sure to be involved; using. (2) LABATT HANOVER was bought by Joe Hudon following his last start and it's interesting that son Phil has been driving. Keep him in mind if he is a price in this spot. (3) JUSTCALLMERONALD can pass a few of these late and take a small share. Race 9 (4) MUCH ADOO has the class and speed to control this race from start to finish; top call. (3) HOT SPOT HANOVER won with Roy two starts back and he returns here so I'll use her in the late Pick 4. (2) REQUEST FOR PAROLE kept coming uncovered last time, but these are tougher and she likely gets only a smaller share in this spot. (1) RUBIS PRESCOTT steps up off a win but has a vet scratch in between and she is another who likely finishes on the edges here. Race 10 (1) FOREVER LIZA has shown in the past that she has the speed to compete at this level and there appears to be enough speed lined up outside to ensure an honest pace; price play. (6) WHISTYS PARADISE is another who should benefit by some projected early battling here and she is a must-use in the late Pick 4 for me. (5) KAYS SHADOW drops back to the class she won at two starts back and she rates highly on form but is also likely to face some early heat here. (8) TRACES OF PURPLE woke up and raced tough despite being out most of the mile. She's another that can take this with the right trip. (7) KISS ME OR NOT will likely adopt a closing style here and come late for a slice. [DRF HARNESS NEWSLETTER: Sign Up for the FREE DRF Harness Newsletter.
