Race 4 - $75,000 Guaranteed Pick Four Pool

Best Bet (3 - 6 / $8.90): SAVAGE SEELSTER (9th)

Spot Play: ASLAN (6th)

Race 1

(3) REGAL MAGIC qualified very well and is capable of dropping more time. She draws inside, had a good campaign last year and enjoys getting off the gate. (4) LIL REI also draws well and comes out of the Gillis barn. She gets Jamieson in the bike and has had a good start to her season. (7) BURSTIN BUBBLES hasn't been at her best so far in 2013, but she's capable and should offer a price. She's very versatile and appears to race at her best when she's put into the race.

Race 2

(7) SCHOOLHOUSE ROCK was a convincing winner last week and although he moves up in class, I feel he's very capable. He's very versatile, minds his manners and finished his miles very strong. (5) DEVLIN SEELSTER has a good record this season and has been a threat at this level all season. He certainly has enough trot to be a part of the exactor. (9) BETTY OOP was been assigned post nine, but has the gate-speed to be well-positioned early in the mile. She's hit the board in three of her last four starts.

Race 3

(6) PARADE ROUTE has been knocking on the door in her last pair of starts and is due for another win this season. Austin's barn has been very good this season and she's very competitive in this field. (9) OOZIES FINALE draws the outside and enjoys racing from off-the-pace. She comes out of the Gillis barn and if she's not too far back, I like her chances. (7) CAMS MACHARENA qualified well last week for O'Sullivan and is lightly raced this season. She'll likely offer a price, but I feel she's very capable.

Race 4

(8) OK FANTASTIC hasn't hit the board in three starts this season, but she's due for a win. She enjoyed a very successful season last year racing in the OSS (Ontario Sires Stakes). (2) COMICBOOK HERO draws inside and was timed in 1:52 3/5 last start. That's the main reason for my selection. (3) FOLK ART gets major post relief compared to his last two starts and shows enough speed. He's a good option to consider for the triactor with a good post and quick gate-speed.

Race 5

(6) CHERRY BLISS has been first or second in her last two starts and is coming into this race in great form. She continues to drop time and is very versatile. (3) EXPRESSO YOURSELF comes out of the McIntosh barn and continues to drop time this season. She's lightly raced, draws inside and raced at her best when she's put into the race. (4) MARATOGA tends to be inconsistent at times, but in this class, I feel she's a great option for the triactor. She draws well, comes out of the O'Sullivan barn and is very versatile.

Race 6

(5) ASLAN is at a level where I feel he's very capable of winning. He only has one win from 13 starts this season, but the speed he has displayed in recent starts leads me to believe he can handle this group. (1) GABLE BLUE CHIP draws inside and gets post relief compared to last week. He was the favourite last week and likely will offer a low price this week. Keep in mind he comes from trainer Moreau. (7) DUE WEST HANOVER has been finishing off his miles very strong and certainly has enough speed. I feel he'll race a lot better in this class.

Race 7

(7) F TWENTY TWO raced very well last week to finish fourth at high odds. He was hard-used in the early going and came home in :27 3/5. (2) TALBOTCREEK ARMANI draws inside and has been pacing home very strong. He made a break last week, which I'm going to overlook. He'll likely offer a price. (3) DREDYL HANOVER is a horse that I'm not convinced can win, but is a good choice for the triactor. He leaves from the inside and gets Zeron in the bike.

Race 8

(7) MACH AWAY has won two straight and three of her last four starts. She's very versatile and likely the horse the beat. (3) THREE HANDBAGS is capable of being a part of the exactor, but will need a trip. She's lightly raced this season, draws well and has the breeding. (2) KINGSTON WHO draws much better this week and gets Jamieson in the bike. She shows enough speed and is very capable of hitting the board.

Race 9

(4) SAVAGE SEELSTER qualified very strongly in 1:53 3/5. He draws well, enjoys being put into the race and gets Waples. (1) IDOLE DUHARAS draws the rail and also qualified very well in 1:54 4/5. He'll make his first start of the season and looks like he's very capable of being top two at first asking. (5) RED MAGICIAN was recently timed in 1:52 4/5 with a :27 final quarter. Any type of repeat effort and he's a major player in this race.

Race 10

(3) MODERN IMAGE has started off her season in top form with two straight wins and has yet to miss the board in all three starts. She draws well and has excellent gate-speed. (5) HIPPIE CHIC will make her second start of the season and moves onto this circuit. She raced well in her latest, will appreciate the bigger track and likely will drop more time. (8) RACEY MISS will make her seasonal debut and had a terrific season last year with seven wins from 10 starts. She may offer a price and is a logical choice for the triactor.

Race 11

If (10) SLIGHT TOUCH can mind his manners, he has a ton of speed and despite a post 10 start, he's still very capable in here. He has tremendous speed and is very capable of going a big mile. (6) GLAMMIT moves into the Auciello barn and this colt has started off his season well. He's yet to miss the board, shows enough speed and is very versatile. (2) BURNING SHORE draws inside and has hit the board in four of six starts this season. He has enough speed and likely won't offer a price.

Race 12

(6) LARK SEELSTER enjoys racing from off-the-pace and has a good record this season. She has enough speed to win and comes out of the Gillis barn. (8) GLOW STICK will make her second start of the season and comes out of the Coleman barn, which was been terrific in 2013. She's capable of dropping more time as she makes her second start. (5) SENORITA SANTANNA comes out of the SBOA Stakes final and into this class. She raced against tougher competition and is a major threat in this event.
