Mohawk: Horses to watch from May 30 - June 3

Thursday, May 30
EXEMPLAR (NW1/3YO) Finished very wide and very fast from a distant 4th over and has to earn a look in next.
ANAFFAIRTOREMEMBER (NW1/3YO) Brushed and crushed in last, finishing wrapped up as much the best.
PART TIME LADY (8000CLMFM) Angled out, finished full of pace to win going away and should be able to beat better.
AMERICAN GRACE (CLM8000FM) Finished widest and best from 5th over in last race and should not be overlooked.

Friday, May 31
NORTHERN SPARK (NW50000 Rallied under all-out urging in the lane; couldn't catch the "much the best'' winner, but got up for second on a rainy night.
COE LEADER (NW2) Was buried to the lane, angled out, found solid footing and closed well but the winner had gotten the jump on him.
GARETH NOURRIR (CLMHCP10/15000) Beaten favorite left, tucked, pulled, challenged uncovered a long way, got put away by the winner but held gamely to second while tiring. Would not take much of better racing luck to atone.
OCEANVIEW BINDI (NW8000FM) Finished with a rush inside, picking up many foes and serious lengths. Has to earn some respect, especially in exotics.

Saturday, June 1
STRAGEGY (NW3) Sat in the pocket, searched in and out, to and fro and high and low, but found no route to his liking, clearing much too late to launch a bid.
ROLLEM UP (NW8000) Was far back in the outer flow heading home, found his strongest stride too late to menace but finished full of pace.
CAMS TUX (NW5000) This beaten favorite was possibly much the best but had all the bad luck you could get. Stuck behind a gapper to the third panel, angled out in the turn but despite a wicked last three-eighths, it was too much to overcome.
DRAIN DADDY (NW14000) Rallied well from 4th over but hit best stride too late to show his best.

Monday, June 3
BETTY OOP (NW2) Left fast, took the lead, yielded, retook and raced away for the impressive score.
I C D MOOLAH (NW2) Made a costly break behind the gate in last but despite sitting 15 lengths back at the quarter, rallied well enough to get up for 4th and should not be discounted.
ANNUITY (NW5000) Beaten favorite showed good early speed and good late speed in last but had too far to come.
GEOORGE JETTISON (NW2) Rallied from last to miss by only three in most recent outing and with Rick Zeron in the bike will ever be a stretch threat.
