Mohawk: Horses to watch from June 6 - June 10

Email

Thursday, June 6

WISH ME LUCK AS (NW1/3YO) Revved it up in the stretch over a wet track and picked off four or five foes.

WATCH THE RHYTHM (NW2) Beaten favorite hit best stride too late from a distant fourth over and deserves another chance.

STONEBRIDGE CLASSY (NW1/3YOF) Made a game rally from second over to be easily second best to the short priced favorite.

REMSHEG JULIAN (CLM15000) Made two moves to the lead, yielded, sat pocket only to get shuffled to the third panel, squeezed out in the final turn but could not step it up when asked to rally a third time.

Friday, June 7

RACHEL WELCH (NW2FM) Paced up a storm through the lane but it was too late. Do not ignore.

LOST IN PANSLATION (CLMHCP10/12000) Chased the winner home with good pace and was easily second best in most recent outing.

GREYSTONE LADYLIKE (PRFFM) Put up a fast :26.2 last panel in last week's action and topped off the exacta with Scott Zeron in the bike.

ROBIN CRUISER (NW8000FM) Was much the best in front stepping effort last time out and can take another.

Saturday, June 8

LOVE CANAL (FANHANOVER) She popped off a :25.4 last panel sprinting home in her elim and such numbers have to be remembered.

VIPER SELECT (NW5000) Was too far back to menace when turning home but a mad dash to the wire had him looming in the shadow of the wire in last steps.

THATS THE LIFE (NW14000) Launched a staunch late bid to get up for second in last effort and has to be considered a stretch threat in next.

MACH DREAMER (PRF) May have been a bit deep in last but obviously has his place and the time is coming.

Monday, June 10

STRIKER ACE (OntSS) Entered the final turn 5th over, fanned widest and was at least six, probably seven wide, finishing with good trot in his Grassroots divsion.

BREES CREEK (NW2) Had way too far to come over a sloppy track on a rainy night but his last quarter indicates he should be along in time soon.

KNOWS NOTHING (PRF) Beaten favorite pulled the pocket at the third panel, challenged but was rebuffed. Can turn the tables on a dry track.

KENNEL BUDDY (OntSS) Followed wide heading home, found a path and hit overdrive. Youngster powered home with impressive rally to win going away.
