KING PETE (CLM10000) Launched a strong rally but it came too late and was from too far off.
ZORWIJK MERCEDES (NW1/3YO) Sat a stalking pocket and chased the winner home but was second best.
SEASIDE RORY (OntSS) Pulled the pocket and finished gamely but the well bet winner was just too much to hold off.
TWIN B MADAM (CLMHCKP10/12000FM) Finished fast to nail them all and can repeat with similar effort.
Friday, June 29
BELLE BOYD (2YOF) Got away slowly but rushed up into contention with a huge move coming into the stretch but flattened out. The move should be enough to garner a win or two in near future.
GLAMMIT (OntSS) Sat raging in a tight pocket, bulled out mid lane, busted into a foe, straightened and closed strongly for the win but was taken down.
SWINGING BEAUTY (OPENFM) Pounced from the clouds in last putting up a quick :26.3 stretch rally but had too far to come.
KISS DONT BITE (NW8000FM) Rallied gamely through the lane but could not get there. Beaten favorite should be along in time to atone.
Saturday, June 30
PUTNAM MACKENZIE (NW5000FM) Was the victim of a final turn shuffle in last, managed to get wide to rally but it was too late.
WHIRLWIND (CLMHCP30/40000) Launched a furious late bid but it was just a step too late to nail the favorite.
CANBEC FRIDOLIN (NW8000) Left just fast enough to get parked and find no tucks, prompted the pace uncovered to the three-quarters before giving way.
TOP OF THE MORNING (NW5000) Got stuck in the pocket, escaped in the last steps with willing finish to nail second but it may have cost him the win.
Sunday, July 1
MORE THAN THAT (OntSS) Pulled the pocket at 50-1, tested the pacesetter and gave way. Would have probably fared better if she enjoyed the trip.
BERTHAANDGERTRUDE (OntSS) Made a game stretch rally but had too far to come.
SHESBADTOTHEBONE (OntSS) Finished with good strides but had far to come chasing the favorite home.
BETIT TO GETIT (OntSS) Went down the road, put two challengers on the rail past the quarter, met another challenge in the final turn, shook off all but the two favorites while digging in gamely.
Monday, July 2
GARETH NOURRIR (NW2) Sat buried to the lane, rallied steadily and hit a fast stride the last yards. Well connected, he will find winners circle soon.
FRANCESCHETTI (OntSS) Ran out of track like only a runaway locomotive can. Beaten favorite just missed and atones.
NORTHERN MISS HALL (NW4) Trotter hit overdrive from back of the pack and gobbled up does with a relentless rally to win going away.
FLIGHT EXEC (NW1) Paced away when asked and should repeat with any kind of a trip.

OUR HEAT has a win and a second in two turf tries here. She has been favored both time but is meeting tougher today. Like her style, sitting back a bit early and then unleashing a strong closing kick. She seems to like the turf and graduated in a straight maiden grass race. The breeding is heavily slanted to turf. BEEZAROO has hit the board in her past five starts at this level. Has outrun her breeding on turf and scored her lone career victory over the Lakeside Turf Course. Rider chose top pick over her, but she's picked up leading ridder for this.
