Race 1

(3) ADORED BY THE MASSES won his first three starts then was only nailed late in an OSS Gold dash in his fourth try. He has the best late speed and should be tough in the opener. (6) UNITALIANO BI rolled to a big win at Georgian and will be winging here early, no doubt. He may have trouble holding the choice off late, however, looking at his final quarters. (7) STORMONT ESQUIRE won his debut at huge odds by making two moves in this type of race. He is dangerous.

Race 2

(6) ZLATAN has improved his speed with trotting hopples added in the last two qualifiers. He looks like a different horse with that equipment; top call. (4) DEWEYLOVERNLEAVER roared home at Georgian to break his maiden in a sires stake; the main danger. (7) NOFEAR BLUE CHIP was stung first up at Georgian in the third 1/4 but still hung on decently. He could be closer off a better trip.

Race 3

(8) INVEST IN ART was nailed very late by the big chalk last week and looks solid here vs. easier. (2) UNIQUE ROCK N ROLL closed for third in the same race but needs to start quicker to threaten the choice. (7) GRACIES PARADE broke while on the move last time. She can share if she stays pacing.

Race 4

(1) ANDRO MADI was pushed for the first 3/4 last week, getting no breathers and understandably tired. She figures to trip much better here; top call. (8) SCARLET STARLET was claimed by a high % outfit last time and likely gets sent hard early here; using. (5) ROMANTIC FEVER was hung the mile last week when several horses wanted the top in the first 1/2. She has a better chance at a good trip here.

Race 5

(8) COTTONWOOD CREEK was an impressive winner two back then chased the razor-sharp Maplelea to no avail. She should rebound with a better effort here. (2) SOUTHWIND GEISHA has been knocking on the door but has had several bad trips in the past month. She's capable vs. these. (3) CODE ONE HANOVER put up some big early fractions at Hanover and almost held on. Catch her to greet the cashier.

Race 6

(5) WILL TAKE CHARGE made a big third 1/4 move and just failed to hold off a late closer. This gelding won't be held off much longer. (2) TONY SOPRANO was a sharp first-up winner last time to break his maiden in a sires stake. He obviously has talent but also looks a bit erratic at times; contender nonetheless. (1) MASS BALANCE had a rough trip from an outer post at Georgian and still hung on for 3rd. He should get a better trip here.

Race 7

(7) NINETTE B raced tough first-over again last time and will be tough here considering her sharp current condition. (6) SOUTHWIND LUNA drops back to the class she was claimed from on June 25 and can be expected to improve here. (3) A LOTOF SENSE was parked the mile last week. She should get a better trip here and some pace to close into.

Race 8

(7) BERNADETTE paced her third 1/4 in :27 flat last time but couldn't get by the leader which did in her chances. She faces mostly easier here and looks tough to beat. (3) BIG WHITE PEARL closed strongly against a very sharp winner and looks like the only threat to the choice. (2) SOUTHWIND SHANIA has been showing improvement and should get a share here.

Race 9

(3) JOSEPH GERARD is tough to overhaul in this class and you know where he's headed when the gate pulls away. (1) WINE PHOTO looks like a good claim and if he can secure the pocket early behind the choice he might be able to overtake him late. (6) BLUSH AND CRUSH almost caught the choice last time but has been more likely for slices than wins this year.

Race 10

(2) MEA LILLEY MARK faced the same tough winner twice straight and wasn't far back. This group is easier and she should be prominent throughout. (4) MISS MACHQUEEN was only a couple of lengths behind the choice last time in an improved effort. She might be coming around now. (9) SHADYS M THREE was first up in the same race as the choice and stalled. Look for her to come late here which is a better style for her anyway.

Race 11

(9) NORTHERN STARLET's only sub-par effort in her last five was from the 10-hole and Filion figures to blast her off the wings of the gate here; top call in a race with many contenders. (2) BETTY AND THE JETS fell last week but was a sharp-closing 2nd two back. She can rebound here. (3) MACHMETER almost nailed a big favorite on the line last week and last time she drew inside was an easy winner. (1) MYSTERY WRITER went a long trip last week yet was only a length short. She's another contender. (6) HAPPY ENDING GAL roared down the Hanover stretch to take a Grassroots dash last Saturday. She can win, too; go deep here on late pick 4 tickets.
