The weather was far from perfect, but it didn't stop driver Sylvain Filion as he racked up three victories in C$225,000 Ontario Sires Stakes Super Finals for rookie and sophomores on both gaits Saturday night at Mohawk Racetrack. Filion's first win came courtesy of 3-year-old male trotter R First Class, who took over the lead on the way to the 57 3/5 half and went on to win by 2 1/4 lengths in 1:54 4/5.  It was the seventh win of the season and in the life of R First Class, a Kadabra gelding trained by Ben Baillargeon for owners/breeders Tom and Elizabeth Rankin.  R First Class, who returned $2.60 to win as the 1-5 favorite, has now earned C$307,246.
