YOUR FLAME IN ME takes a big step up in class, but she hasn't been headed yet, and figures to be sent on a run-and-gun mission from the inside once again on Friday. Expect her to feel pace heat from RICHWOMAN and TIME'S MISTRESS, but Your Flame in Me has been very impressive thus far in her short career, and trainer Michael Trombetta is one of the most underrated trainers in the country. She'll be prominent when they turn for home, and every one of her Beyer Speed Figures is better than what her rivals ran in their most recent outings.
ACADIA BREEZE rode an outside bias to victory over Keeneland's Polytrack, but it seems like she's found sprinting to be her best game. She tired badly going long in her previous two races, and was compromised by an intense speed-favoring track to kick off her 3-year-old campaign. Acadia Breeze is a capable stalker for excellent connections, and should get pace to attack in the late stages.
SILVER KNOCKERS impressed with a wide victory at Gulfstream on February 8, and she galloped out beautifully after her runner-up finish in the Grade 2 Forward Gal in her next start. She may have moved a bit too soon in the Grade 1 Ashland, and it's possible that she didn't take to Polytrack. Expect a better performance as she returns to conventional dirt with a legitimate pace in front of her.
YOU ASKED may get the perfect setup as a closer in a race filled with speed, and she had to battle a speed bias as well as razor-sharp Dream Rush two back in the Grade 3 Old Hat. She hasn't been out since March, however, and it will be interesting to see if she's 100% cranked for this.
