Miss Missile takes another stakes

Miss Missile ($4.80) won her second stakes of the Delta Downs meet on Friday night, when she held off 21-1 shot Eagle's Song by a neck in the $55,000 Genesis.

Diego Saenz rode the winner, who covered seven furlongs over a muddy track in 1:28 for owner and trainer Charlie Smith.

Her other stakes win at Delta came in the $100,000 My Trusty Cat.

* Prince Cortez ($5.20) remained perfect in three career starts when he stalked and pounced for a two-length win over Crook's Bodgit in the $53,000 Triple Sec for 3-year-olds. The seven-furlong race was the two-turn debut for the horse, a son of Louisiana Derby winner Repent trained by Tom Amoss and ridden by Gerard Melancon.
