Miss E Bar fueled and prevailed for a neck win over Tea Light in the $85,000 La Senora at Sunland Park on Sunday. It was another 1 1/4 lengths back in third to Muy Rapido. Miss E Bar ($26.40) was prominent through fractions of 21.89 seconds for the opening quarter and 44.52 for the half-mile. She overtook Tea Light to cover six furlongs in 1:10.50. Ken Tohill was aboard the winner for trainer Joel Marr. Miss E Bar is a 3-year-old New Mexico-bred daughter of Firejack. She races for her breeder, Donnell Echols.
