Misremembered moves to Barton Thoroughbreds

Grade 1 winner Misremembered has been relocated to Barton Thoroughbreds in Santa Ynez, Calif., for the 2018 breeding season, where he will stand for $2,500.

The 12-year-old son of Candy Ride previously resided at BG Thoroughbreds at Hemet, Calif., where he was advertised in 2017 for the same fee.

Misremembered has sired four crops of racing age, with 37 winners and combined progeny earnings of more than $2.2 million. His top runners include stakes winner Nightly News and Grade 2-placed Dazzling Gem.

Bred in Kentucky by Bob Baffert, Misremembered is out of the Grade 2-winning Quack mare Beyond Perfection, who is the dam of five winners from six foals to race.

Misremembered won 6 of 13 starts for earnings of $1,306,709, with scores in the Grade 1 Santa Anita Handicap, the Grade 2 Indiana Derby and Swaps Stakes, and the listed Santana Mile Stakes. His five graded placings include a runner-up effort in the Grade 1 Malibu Stakes.
