Law Enforcement, a multiple stakes-winning son of Posse, has been purchased by David O. Hansen’s Quintana Farm, and will remain standing at Dove Hill Farm in New Prague, Minn., for the 2015 breeding season.

The 10-year-old son of Posse was previously owned by Cam Casby, who died in October after complications from a heart attack. Casby bred Law Enforcement in New York, campaigned him throughout his career, and debuted him at stud in 2013 at Dove Hill Farm.

Law Enforcement’s first foals are yearlings of 2015, and he will stand the upcoming breeding season for an advertised fee of $2,500.

A member of Posse’s first crop at stud, Law Enforcement won six of 30 starts for earnings of $458,638. He won four New York-bred stakes, one each at all four of the state’s ovals, highlighted by the $100,000 Aspirant Stakes at Finger Lakes. He placed in five additional stakes races.

Law Enforcement is out of the unraced Lord At War mare Zambezi Belle, who is the dam of five winners from six foals to race. He is from the family of Grade 3 winner Unknown Heiress and Grade 2-placed stakes winner Medici Bells.
