Mini Mom back in vs. statebreds

Mini Mom goes for her second stakes victory when she heads a field of seven Ohio-bred 2-year-old fillies in the $50,000 Glacial Princess Stakes at one mile at Beulah Park.

Mini Mom scored a one-length victory in the $75,000 John W. Galbreath Stakes going 1 1/16 miles on Oct. 6 at Thistledown. In her most recent start, Mini Mom finished sixth, beaten 10 1/4 lengths, in the $125,000 Jessamine Stakes over the turf at Keeneland on Oct. 26.

Overall, Mini Mom has a record of 2-3-1 from 7 starts, all for trainer Tim Hamm. Mini Mom carries high weight of 122 pounds.

Reapingtherewards looms the main danger. Reapingtherewards is also trained by Hamm, who will saddle four of the seven starters in the Glacial Princess. None of Hamm's runners will be coupled in the betting because of separate ownership on each.

Reapingtherewards is the only stakes-placed runner besides Mini Mom entered in the Glacial Princess. Reapingtherewards ran third in two stakes at Thistledown prior to finishing fifth, beaten 11 lengths, against males in the Ohio Freshman here over a sloppy track on Oct. 28.

Reapingtherewards figures to run from off the pace for her owner-breeder Bruce Ryan.
