Milwaukee Brew fee is $15K


Recently retired Milwaukee Brew, back-to-back winner of the Santa Anita Handicap, will stand at Adena Springs Farm near Lexington, Ky., for a first-year fee of $15,000.

Milwaukee Brew, a 6-year-old by Wild Again, earned more than $2.8 million during his career, winning eight races from 24 starts.

Other Adena Kentucky stallions and their 2004 fees are Alphabet Soup, whose fee remains the same as last year at $10,000; Awesome Again, who rises from $50,000 to $75,000; El Prado, the same at $75,000; Gold Case, up from $3,500 to $7,500; Golden Missile, the same at $25,000; and Touch Gold, the same at $50,000.

Adena's Florida stallions, standing at Adena Springs South in Ocala, and their fees include Lite the Fuse, the same at $7,500; Lucky Lionel, the same at $2,500; Red Bullet, the same at $30,000; Running Stag, the same at $7,500; and new addition Macho Uno, $15,000.
