Email

Millennium Farms at Moon Lake in Louisiana has lowered its stud fee for Shaniko from $5,000 to $2,500 and will keep the other horses on its 2011 roster at their 2010 fee levels.

Millennium's Louisiana horses stand at Moon Lake Farm in Elm Grove, La.

Shaniko stood at Millennium Farms in Kentucky this year and will stand for the first time at the Moon Lake division in 2011. He is a 9-year-old son of A. P. Indy and the Pleasant Tap mare Sapphire n' Silk.

All of the Millennium Farms at Moon Lake horses stand on live-foal, stand-and-nurse terms.
The rest of the 2011 roster, with fees, consists of Chatain, $2,500; Scrimshaw, $2,500; Woke Up Dreamin, $2,500; Littleexpectations, $2,000; A. P. Delta, $1,500; and Lone Star Special, $1,000.

Millennium Farms at Moon Lake is owned by John Turner and the estate of the late John Franks and is affiliated with Ro Parra's Kentucky-based Millennium Farms, which sent horses there under the Millennium banner for the first time last year.
