Jeff Mullins sent out Castledale to win the 2003 Generous in that one's North American debut, and he'll look to repeat the first-time import pattern with MISS JOSIEY WALES. The daughter of Breeders' Cup Mile winner Val Royal beat a bulky field in her final start in Ireland, and adds Lasix and blinkers for this start. She shouldn't be too far off the early pace under Tyler Baze. MYSTIC SOUL also goes out for Mullins, and she comes out of a very fast running of the Miss Grillo at Belmont. The final time of that race may be skewed a bit, however, as the rider of the pacesetter lost his reins, and the loose horse set a wild pace. Mystic Soul was checked while saving ground at the top of the stretch, but seemed exhausted late when switching back to her wrong lead. ONIDA may be a live longshot. She sold for 85,000 guineas at Tattersalls last month, and was a solid gate-to-wire maiden winner two back. She was simply in over her head last time out in a Group 2, but Lasix may help her out at Hollywood. SUPER FREAKY is yet another that seems better when close to the early pace, and P. Val will likely have her in the mix. She is working well for this, and has upside potential. HUCKING HOT gets a bit cranky in the paddock, but she showed off a strong stretch kick in winning the Hidden Light at Oak Tree. She's dangerous right back. BRUSHED GOLD was the beaten favorite in the Miss Grillo, but may not have appreciated the yielding going. Todd Pletcher must always be respected with young horses in graded stakes races.

Selections: 1. Miss Josiey Wales 2. Mystic Soul 3. Onida
