Santa Anita Derby winner Midnight Interlude is one of 22 horses supplemented to the Barretts Equine Ltd. January mixed sale, the company announced on Wednesday.

Barretts will conduct its mixed sale on Jan. 22 in the Hinds Pavilion located on the grounds of Fairplex Park in Pomona, Calif., beginning at 11 a.m. Pacific. There are 317 cataloged hips in the sale plus the 22 supplements.

Midnight Interlude, a 5-year-old son of War Chant, won the 2011 Santa Anita Derby for owner-breeder Arnold Zetcher and trainer Bob Baffert. He also won the Tsunami Slew Stakes at Hollywood and finished second in the Grade 2 Del Mar Derby. He won three of 13 starts and earned $769,232.

Among the featured hips in the catalog are: California stallion Ancient Art, who has produced 17 winners from 57 foals three and up and is a half-brother to Breeders’ Cup Turf winner and sire Johar; broodmare Miss Nicolie, a stakes winner and stakes producer; and Phi Beta Heat, a half-sister to Grade 1-placed stakes winner Mensa Heat who is in foal to English Channel.
