Safe From Terror gobbled up ground late to capture the $170,000 Nadia Lobell for 3-year-old pacing fillies at The Meadows on Wednesday afternoon.

Sassa Hanover set solid fractions of 26 3/5, 54 4/5 and 1:22 2/5 while facing light pressure from stablemate Storm Point throughout the mile. Bettor Be Steppin and The Show Returns secured pylon position in behind the leader while Totally Rusty and Safe From Terror set up shop second- and third-over.

With the field spread out four wide into the stretch, Sassa Hanover began to tire and The Show Returns took control for a brief moment until driver Matt Kakaley could gather momentum with Safe From Terror and swoop to the front at the wire in 1:50 4/5.

The Show Returns held second ahead of Divine Caroline, who was bottled up most of the mile and split foes late.

For Safe From Terror it was her tenth win in 21 starts in 2015. She is also perfect in four races at The Meadows.
