Race 1

(3) RAVENS VICTORY comes with the risk of a break, but is as fast as any in here and should be a better price than (6) LAUDERDALE, who until last week had trouble finding the winner’s circle. (4) ZOLI appears to be a step behind the top two but is improving.

Race 2

(1) LUCAN HANOVER raced poorly last week and still finished third. This is the week that counts and I expect this Casie Coleman trainee to show up with a big effort. (4) IMA GIGGITY FOOL scored impressively last week. (3) LATE NIGHT JOKE couldn’t last on the lead last week but against a short field, maybe tonight is the night.

Race 3

(3) MAMBO ITALIANO ships down here to race for the same purse as in Saratoga. That seems like an odd placement. This guy has won here in the past and this field is awful. Maybe it was a smart move. (4) CULLENS BLUE JEAN comes off a win at this level last week. (5) BLADE RUNNER has been stuck in some fast miles lately.

Race 4

(6) SWEET ROCK has looked good in morning action for trainer Larry Remmen. Gelding was a $65,000 Harrisburg purchase. (3) SUITS came up short in his career debut, but did pace a fast first quarter. (1) IN THE CLEAR has shown a nose for the wire in his qualifiers. This $50k Harrisburg buy’s mom has delivered five $100k-plus earners.

Race 5

(6) ROSIE DE VIE is a full sister to $1.5 million earner No Or Nodial and brought $60,000 at the Lexington sale. Her lines don’t look overly impressive, but she raced evenly and has dropped time in each effort. (2) CUT A DEAL clearly has early speed. If she is loose on the front, watch out! (4) SURFSIDE SEXY has raced well in the morning. This $35k purchase seems likely to out-produce her price tag. (8) BOLT OF THUNDER comes off a nice qualifying score, but is stuck outside in post eight.

Race 6

(5) RESISTANCE FUTILE was a killer here earlier in the year. Perhaps the switch back to the Meadowlands will perk him back up. (8) MOONLITEONTHEBEACH has been keeping some good company lately; must use. (1) THE BRUISER drops out of the Opens at Vernon to face his peers; driver change. (6) ROCKY MOUNTAIN GUY has been doing well against slightly lesser. (7) TERROR HIGH shows some miles that would be competitive with this bunch.

Race 7

(4) ALED HANOVER has found his form for trainer Ron Burke and seems like a play despite the rise in class. (5) MCCLELLAND faced better foes at Pocono last time; player. (9) PANESTHETIC has good early speed and would be no surprise. (7) LETTHEROCKBEGIN tackles tougher after a 1:49 4/5 romp.

Race 8

(7) SIR ZIGGYS Z TAM got on track last week and can build on that effort. (3) BLUE CLAW seems to be finding some form and will certainly be near the front. (6) ROCKNROLL JEWEL returns to the Meadowlands against a field he should be competitive with. (8) HES A BEACHBOY is another with early speed who could menace.

Race 9

(3) HIGHLAND TERRIFIC qualified back nicely and Manzi knows him well. I can see him scoring a mild upset. (9) SOUTHWIND TERROR seems to be moving in the right direction now; using. (4) LETS ROCK TOGETHER & (2) HES SHORE TAN both looks like players given a decent trip.

Race 10

(1) MR COOLIE ships down for Ford and finds a great spot. I’m expecting a nice effort. (2) BLUE STRIKE raced well in the Caramore despite some outside posts. (4) FREDDY DAY HANOVER can win from on or off the pace; in form. (6) PRINCE SHARKA has won at this level in the past.

Race 11

(5) IDEAL HELEN has displayed a strong late kick in the morning. Erv Miller trainee is a full sister to Enhance the Night ($561k earner) and Ideal Nectarine ($607k earner). (7) MY LADY DAY has shown some good speed in her practice races. Western Ideal-sired fill was a $75,000 Lexington purchase. (1) DANIELLES ALL ACES is the third foal out of Always True, who foaled Dynamic Youth ($725,557, 1:48 3/5).

Race 12

(7) A COOL CARD has come back to the races sharp after a long layoff. This field might be easier than the one he faced at Philly. (4) FORENSIC Z TAM reunites with Mike Lachance tonight. (8) LONG LIVE ROCK is certainly in form but faces better foes this week.

Race 13

(4) SIR MICHIGAN Z TAM is a talented son of Somebeachsomewhere who gets a ton of class relief tonight. (6) SHARK TREASURE added Lasix and raced much better. (9) NET TEN EOM could have some trip issues from the outside post.

Race 14

(1) PALMS BEACH gets Carlson in the bike this week and could awaken. (2) PEDRO ISLAND has some bad lines but faces a pitiful field. (7) ALLAMERICAN CHIEF was better last week.
