Race 3 - $30,000 Guaranteed Pick Four Pool

Race 7 - $50,000 Guaranteed Pick Four Pool

Best Bet: CAPITAL ACCOUNT (1st)

Spot Play: ODDS ON EQUULEUS (11th)

Race 1

(6) CAPITAL ACCOUNT had loads of finishing pace after getting shuffled in NYSS action at Yonkers; Takter trainee can strike with a better trip. (2) BEAT THE DRUM raced well in the NA Cup and he's impossible to ignore here. (4) MOONLITEONTHEBEACH raced well at Yonkers two back and he could close for a share.

Race 2

(1) HELIOS has plenty of ability but obviously needs to stay trotting. (3) BLUEBIRD KIDSQUEEN has been a good earner for Abbatiello and the mare appears overdue. (5) SIMONE HALL returns to the big track and could be considered for a share.

Race 3

(5) STAR PHOTO pounced from the ten hole to upset in the Flower Child last week. Trotter has been super since joining the Burke barn and he can easily repeat. (6) ELIN has been a steady earner at Yonkers and maybe the stretch out to the bigger track can help her out. (8) MARCUS BI may need a fast pace to close into but he appears capable.

Race 4

(3) ROCKEYED OPTIMIST was outbattled last week by the Casie Coleman trainee (4) TWIN B TENACIOUS. Perhaps he can turn the tables tonight. The latter is lightly raced but he's got obvious ability. (1) JOURNEYMAN closed willingly after chasing a hot pace in his local return and he figures for a share here.

Race 5

(7) CAVIART KEY faltered on the front end last week but he's got some back class and perhaps Lachance can coax a better effort out of him. (10) SOUTHWIND TERROR has been pacing just evenly lately but he could be better in his second local start; can Marcus Miller generate some early speed? (9) CASINO KING could be a closing threat for Joe Martin.

Race 6

(6) RAGE N RYAN set a decent clip on the engine and gave way last week; I'm inclined to give this Burke trainee another chance, especially if he's left alone on the front end. (7) LET'S DRINK ON IT is obviously a legit three-year-old but he tackles aged pacers tonight. (1) NOVA ARTIST has earned 850K in his career while flying under the radar.

Race 7

(3) SIR CARY'S Z TAM has been steadily improving in his last few starts and the Lachance trainee appears ready to score. The post relief clearly helps tonight. (1) SOMEWHERE IN L A  grinded his way to victory versus these last week. (2) HANG TEN was game in defeat last out and he hails from Burke; tough to ignore.

Race 8

(2) ANDREW LUCK had too far to come last week but rallied for a minor share; prior efforts were good. (5) OPEN WATER kept up well to be second best in a fast mile last out. (7) LEG UP rallied well, but way too late in his latest effort; he may be too far back again.

Race 9

(7) MIGHTY YOUNG JOE has been a great story this year for Stacy Chiodo. Eleven-year-old recently passed the 500K lifetime mark and he shows no signs of slowing down. (9) MOJO TERROR raced well with better when last seen locally. (4) UP UP AND OUT comes in off an awesome winning effort last week and he lands in a live spot tonight.

Race 10

(4) WILLY MUCHA gets a new driver in the bike tonight and maybe the new set of hands will wake him up. (9) STONEBRIDGE TONIC was in no-mans land at odds-on last week; does the classy veteran have anything left? (7) MY LAST CHANCE went wire-to-wire versus C-2 types two back.

Race 11

(3) ODDS ON EQUULEUS stormed home to be second best to Captaintreacherous last out and he should be close enough to strike in this abbreviated field. (2) WAKE UP PETER has eight wins on the season already after going winless in 2013 and I think he's currently good enough to go with these. (1) DOVUTO HANOVER showed a touch of improvement last out.

Race 12

(1) GARNET RIVER A bounced back with a willing effort after being bottomed out in his U.S debut. Further improvement can be expected tonight. (3) MARINER SEELSTER was Lachance's choice and he should be close to the action. (7) BIG JER broke last week upon arrival. Prior to that effort he had been racing well at Yonkers.

Race 13

(4) COLOSSAL returns locally and he had been racing well here earlier this season; worth a play. (5) ON THE RADAR didn't fire last out; prior efforts were good. (6) SIR RICHARD Z TAM gave way badly last week at 50 cents on the dollar; price will be better tonight.
