Race 1

(3) BELL A CHICK is not a horse you play with utter confidence, but he drops back down to the level of his last win and seems live at a reasonable price. (8) WINDSUN GALLIANO is back at the Meadowlands with a catch-driver in tow this time; capable. (9) PARIS PRINCESS N comes off a win in this condition and now gets assigned the outside post.

Race 2

(4) RIGHT STUFF raced better in her last qualifier than it seems on paper and this field came up on the soft side. (3) TONIGHTIMLOVINGYOU was okay in her debut while facing a top 3-year-old filly; could improve. (7) ENCORE DEO tries the big track and might enjoy the switch.

Race 3

(4) IDEAL JOEY raced okay at Philly in his career debut and showed me enough to think he can beat a lackluster group tonight. (6) CHILLN MATISSE can finish strong and might be able to pace by them late. (2) READYSETLETSROLL improved last time. Another step forward makes him viable.

Race 4

(4) STORMIN RUSTLER took back early and had no shot after chasing a slow pace. I’m thinking he’ll be on the move off the gate this time. (6) CAMWISER comes out of the same race wasn’t able to get involved from an outside post; clear shot. (7) EAST MEADOW is sharp and should get a piece.

Race 5

(5) PRETTY BOY HILL had every chance to win his last qualifier, but that field was much tougher than tonight’s assignment. (7) STOLEN GLIMPSE has some ability and could put it all together at any moment; hard to toss. (6) BEACHES DE VIE raced well after the early break last time.

Race 6

(1A) BOOK BINGE finished up his mile nicely after chasing slow fractions last time. It took this 4-year-old a while to find his game, but maybe there is something here. (3) WESTERN FAME easily bested a slightly easier group last time; clear threat. (1B) ROLL N CATCH scored in his first start of the year but must overcome post 10 now. (2) ROLL AWAY JOE chased home Western Fame last time; using underneath.

Race 7

(7) MAJOR WAR is far from consistent, but he is capable of stepping up and should offer some value considering the 35 day layoff. (1) AMPED UP steps up off a win and was Callahan’s choice. (2) FOUR STARZZZ Z drops back down and remains dangerous. (8) PIECE OF THE ROCK has been racing well for some time.

Race 8

(6) ART HISTORY freefalls in class and should win for fun as the chalk. (2) TRUE BLUE HALL is very sharp now and there was no shame in finishing second behind Rock N Roll World. (1) JACKSRLUCKYTOO has speed and an inside post; should get a piece.

Race 9

(8) CALVIN B came up big last time and his history says stringing together wins is very possible. (1) HUNCHIE returns to the Meadowlands at a reduced level and should be aggressively handled. (3) DR C’S Z TAM is plenty sharp and should get a piece.

Race 10

(6) MICHAEL’S POWER is down in class this week and should have every opportunity to wire the field. (8) ALEXIE MATTOSIE is feeling good now. Classy veteran has a serious shot. (5) IM SUPERSONIC A raced well when last here.

Race 11

(8) MEDOLAND JATE has lacked the needed staying power while racing well every week. Perhaps the move into the high percentage Richard Johnson barn makes the difference. (5) UF FAST FEELIN stepped up nicely last time and seems to be in a decent spot again. (1) PRINCE PINANG could pull off an upset if he sits close and finds room late.

Race 12

(5) MOONLIGHT RANSOM does his best work when near the lead and perhaps the new driver will employ those tactics. (7) NATHAN FEELSGOOD did his best against a foe that was ready last week; clear shot in here. (2) STIMULUS PLAN drops again; worth considering. (3) STEADY PULSE looks like an exotics player.
