Race 1

(5) MY NAME IS SAM was an impressive winner in his first start since last May. He comes back in the same class and certainly seems like a horse to follow. (4) ROOSTER RABBIT finished second behind the  top choice a week ago after showing early speed; same scenario again. (6) REVENGE SHARK & (7) MIDNIGHT LIGHTNING are both exiting series action where the competition was tougher.

Race 2

(1) ROCKEYED OPTIMIST has been nothing short of spectacular and is impossible to pick again; free space in your pick 5 plays. (2) LORD OF MISRULE displayed early speed and finished up evenly behind the top one most recently. He could be the best value underneath. (5) CAVIART LUCA has some ability but needs to find more to win. (4) ROCK OUT is the last logical exacta player; has speed.

Race 3

(6) YOU BET YOUR GLASS double-drops in class and almost has to wake up, right? (2) TRIPLE MAJOR has been a fairly consistent performer when in for a $10k claiming tag. (4) WESTERN TSUNAMI is as good as any of the rest but seems to have lost his edge lately.

Race 4

(8) IDEAL MAGIC visited the winner's circle in his last start here at this level. On paper he is clearly the one to beat. (5) TRANSCENDING was in over his head last time. Veteran campaigner should be a player with this group. (3) SPENDER HANOVER picked up some confidence against cheaper and has shown the ability to step up with a big mile at times.

Race 5

(4) OUTA MY HEAD reunites with trainer Jennifer Lappe, who was able to get three wins out of this gelding in six 2015 starts. I'm guessing the 9-year-old will liven up with the barn change. (2) MIGHTY YOUNG JOE hasn't been on the top of his game this year, but does face a rather questionable group. (3) RAGE N RYAN won by open lengths at Freehold and has succeeded here in the past. (6) ARTISTS RALLY was a solid second in this class last time.

Race 6

(7) PANCHESTER UNITED blew away an easier group last week by six lengths to score for the second consecutive start. Sharp horses moving up in class often provide good value. (5) WINDSONG GORGEOUS was claimed back by trainer Virgil Morgan, Jr, who was able to get this 8-year-old to post a lifetime best 1:49 4/5 mile on February 14. (4) MISTER VIRGIN just missed behind the former last time; using underneath only.

Race 7

(3) ALEX BULLVILLE raced well for fourth despite racing on the rim last Saturday. The previous time Callahan was in the bike he won. (7) MOONLIGHT RANSOM seems to have found a field without a ton of early speed and could be a major player at a price. (2) LAST DRAGON moves into a high percentage barn and could awaken.

Race 8

(2) GRAB YOUR KEYS closed well from tenth in what can be viewed as 'signs of life' in his last start. This is a weak field and I can see him getting aggressive. (7) J M JET SET drops down and figures to bring a better effort. (5) DREAMLANDS ART should flash speed and at least be an exotics threat.

Race 9

(6) BUCKEYE IN CHARGE made an uncovered move and held his ground for third last Saturday. That was the first positive race we have seen from him this year and it could mean he is sitting on a big effort. (4) STEADY PULSE gets a barn and driver change; capable of improving. (5) GRATIAS DEO has hit the board in almost half his start in 2015; exotics threat, maybe more.

Race 10

This is a blank field and (2) SHANE ADAM certainly fits the part. Each of his last three races was won in a time faster than 1:53 and tonight's competition seems unlikely to even best 1:54. I'll give him a very weak call as my top choice. (6) M T THE BANC was short off the bench and now gets a catch-driver to help the cause. (8) TICKET TO ROLL is hard to like, but he shows a few miles that would make him competitive.

Race 11

(7) MAMBO ITALIANO was slowly rounding into form and got over the top last week. I'm going to ride the wave and expect another nice effort. (4) DIAMOND SAID is clearly sharp and would have won easily last week if not for the break. That said, he was rough the entire mile and it was amazing he lasted into the stretch; tough call. (5) BREAKIN THE LAW has been racing reasonably well of late. (2) SEEK THE DRAGON moves into a barn that is having a strong meet.

Race 12

(3) HUNCHIE drops to the basement condition and has no excuses tonight. (8) NF DRUM ROLL has won two straight but loses Gingras this time. (2) KEEP GOING gets a nice driver change to Miller. (9) WHATAORSE has a legitimate chance if Bongiorno can work out a trip from the outside post.
