Race 1 - $25,000 Guaranteed Pick Five Pool

Race 3 - $35,000 Guaranteed Pick Four Pool

Race 7 - $75,000 Guaranteed Pick Four Pool

MEET STATS: 25 - 103 / $121.20     BEST BETS: 3 - 8 / $13.80

Best Bet: PICTURE ME (3rd)      Spot Play: SCOTTY MACH N (12th)

Race 1

(4) GAELIC THUNDER has been in raging form for John McDermott. Last week he was used hard to gain control and had good reason to fold late. Returns here at a reduced level. (8) TOUCH AND GO returns to the big track after some reasonable efforts at Yonkers and may be in a tad cheap. (1) KILLER QUAKE is placed for a good piece.

Race 2

(9) WORLD CUP CULLEN appeared a little high strung prior his last race and then was a handful for most of the first half before succumbing. Miller sticks with this three-year-old. (2) ARC DE TRIUMPH was another hard luck story last week. Four-year-old made a break while climbing over horses past the half. He returns to Tetrick and looks to stay out of trouble. (4) MILLENIUM WHEEL picks up Gingras.

Race 3

(3) PICTURE ME got caught in a severe traffic jam at the longer distance last week and then was in search of room throughout the stretch. Veteran has the class to advance from this level. (6) STRIPEN STAR may try leaving the gate from this spot and adds value to the number. (2) A PLACE IN HISTORY held his ground well in his 2013 debut. Four-year-old can step up here.

Race 4

(9) ALWAYS THERE obviously showed enough talent in last week's mile to keep Gingras in the bike. Western Ideal-sired soph is likely to be used early. (3) WHATS THE STORY has turned over a new leaf since arriving on the big track. (6) SKY IS THE LIMIT has been up against tougher stock.

Race 5

(1) SILVER EAGLE made a costly skip at the start last week and then rebounded quite nicely. Remmen-trained gelding gets a favorable draw again and can get the job done. (6) DROP RED got his confidence with a victory at Freehold two weeks ago. Speedster is most definitely a threat at this level. (9) HIGH NOON showed blistering speed leaving the gate last week and is dangerous despite the post.

Race 6

(3) ESCAPE THE NEWS sometimes doesn't appear the most willing in the stretch but did get a victory here in January. Burke-trained gelding has a conditioning edge on the likely favorite. (2) WARRAWEE NEEDY may in fact be in need of a start. Seriously fast horse is the one to beat. (1) I FOUGHT DALAW figures to be in a good spot most of the way.

Race 7

(5) ROCKIN THE HOUSE has the clear speed to take control from this spot. (8) ABELARD HANOVER smartly didn't try to leave the gate against Golden Receiver a week ago. He won at this level the prior two starts. (6) RIVER SHARK gets the Dave Miller vote of confidence after a quality second place finish last week.

Race 8

(1) FREDDY DAY HANOVER is due to have his day. Six-year-old got aired out on the engine in last that should serve as a significant tightener. (5) LIVE ON gets a quick drop in class after tiring from an aggressive effort in his four-year-old debut. (2) FRISKIES CHEAPSUIT was roughed up in his last start at a higher level, returns to the grade of his last victory.

Race 9

(3) DIANES SHARK held his ground fairly well upon dropping to this class and facing the added distance. Harder-trained gelding picks up Gingras and may get his act together tonight. (1) PRINCE SHARKA was shuffled out early in last week's Exit 16W final losing all chance. He returns to Callahan. (4) ASTOR seems placed for a live cover trip.

Race 10

(11) MARKET FORCE showed blistering speed leaving at this distance and held creditably late. Six-year-old grabs a nice second tier spot and can rebound with Andy Miller in the bike. (4) ST PETE STAR has shown the winning habit up north and debuts locally with Tetrick aboard. (6) IN KENNYS HONOR has shown speed and staying power.

Race 11

(9) RESISTANCE FUTILE just may have too much experience and too much speed for the rest in here. Soph was asked for speed on several occasions last week and had plenty in reserve at the wire. (3) HUMILITY has exhibited plenty of ability in both local starts but has been fortunate not to get into any real battles. (1) AXIOM HANOVER flashed speed in both starts this year and lands a good spot but will need some racing luck.

Race 12

(2) SCOTTY MACH N has been showing some positive signs over the last two weeks and seems to have rounded into winning form. (9) POWER OF A MOMENT was a better horse than this level at times last year. Illinois-bred has been freshened and can strike at first asking. (4) BULLET SPEED returned from an extended leave with a victory at Freehold over a sloppy surface. Five-year-old is dangerous when on his game.

Race 13

(1) DREAMZZZZ R FOR U gets favorable classification after some reasonable claiming level races. Five-year-old picks up Gingras and that could be the difference. (10) LONG LIVE ROCK showed speed at both ends while facing tougher in his local debut. Well-bred gelding appears to be a live longshot contender. (7) SOUTHERN SPORT should benefit from the drop as well.
