Race 1

(3) ANDY BARAN was in a dull flow and could not sustain his rally last time. That was his first start in four weeks and he should be tighter on Saturday. (1) YOU BET YOUR GLASS posted a strong mile in his most recent race and now drops in for a tag. (10) DIABLO SEELSTER moves into a new barn after a win. He has enough speed to overcome the outside post. (6) LATE NIGHT JOKE is capable when on his game.

Race 2

(6) ROCK FAME didn’t do much in his last start to make you want to run to the windows this week, but the competition is much lighter this time around. (2) AMERICAN FORCE had some late pace in his recent qualifier and wouldn’t need to step up much to compete. (4) MISTER ACCUMULATOR moves into the Miller barn but was under a heavy drive in that last morning effort.

Race 3

(5) ROCKNROLL JEWEL dropped last week and rallied nicely with Callahan in the bike. He moves inside from post 10 to 5 and should be closer to the action. (1) WESTERN TRADEMARK only needs a smooth trip to menace. (2) MCSTRAIGHT is one of many dropping down, but he drew best.

Race 4

(6) ATLAS ALLIANCE N raced pretty well from post 10 and finished with good energy. I believe this Down Under import has more than enough ability to score here. (4) GRAB YOUR KEYS chased a monster last time in a fast mile. Don’t be shocked to see him come up big now. (8) SHEER BRILLIANCE adds Tetrick and has some early speed.

Race 5

(9) PANESTHETIC switched barns and was loaded last week. Even after the mile he seemed ready for another trip. The class rise should be no problem. (5) BETTORS GLASS chased home a borderline Open horse last time; dangerous. (1) COBALT MAN has inside speed and should get a piece.

Race 6

(4) DIAL OR NODIAL got a nice confidence building win at the B-1 level and is back where he belongs. This FFA event came up light and he is the one to beat. (2) EMERITIS MAXIMUS raced well in defeat for his new connections and has a chance to control the action. (8) HYPNOTIC BLUE CHIP left after the trainer said he would race from behind and had the sting taken out of him. Look for a more patient drive this time. (3) ROAD UNTRAVELED stepped up nicely last time.

Race 7

(3) DREAMLANDS ART is back on the big track and down in class. (2) THUNDER SEELSTER & (1) WILLY MUCHA have some inside speed in a field that seems to lack that quality.

Race 8

(9) BARBARIAN has faced two far superior foes in recent weeks that would crush this field. Three starts back he bested a similar field to what he tackles tonight. (3) JLDONTWASTEMYTIME only needs a smooth trip to have a say. (2) AMERICAN PAPARAZZI has some early speed and should be in position turning for home.

Race 9

(3) BERKSHIRE BEAR wasn’t quite himself last week, perhaps affected by the three week layoff. I’m going to give this 4-year-old another shot. (4) BURKENTINE HANOVER is clearly very sharp and the switch to Tetrick won’t hurt. (5) AMERICHI comes back from Yonkers and should be very competitive.

Race 10

(7) YES YOUR MATTJESTY raced well for second last time and now gets a switch to Callahan in the bike. (9) LETTHEROCKBEGIN has some early zip and with the added run to the first turn, should be able to make the lead if driver Joe Bongiorno so desires. (11) ASTREOS FLASH has some class and does drop to the basement condition level. (1) CCS LOVER N fits with this group if he brings a decent effort.

Race 11

(3) ERLE DALE N returns to the Meadowlands with slightly better form and at a reduced level. He has as good a chance as any of scoring in this wide open field. (1) MORGAN SHARK has a huge early speed advantage in a field that seems to lack many speedsters. (7) SILENT SHARK found his form at Yonkers and can fly off the gate if asked early. (9) ABELARD HANOVER should be tough against this type of field, but the trainer is 0 for 28 at the meet.

Race 12

(3) ROCK THE WIND seems to be trending in the right direction for trainer Ron Burke. (7) SHOOBEES PLACE got caught in a fast mile last week and doesn’t exactly face the toughest group on the planet. (6) DUE WEST HANOVER has early speed and seems like a much in the exotics.

Race 13

(10) PIERCE has missed over a month of action but does look best on paper. I have questions, but if the price if right, I’d play him. (6) DINNER AT THE MET is perfect in two starts. (8) SHADOW MARGEAUX is clearly a player in what looks like a three-horse race.
