Race 1

(1) ROCKNROLL JEWEL was a winner when last seen at this level and his form while up in class has been relatively good. (9) UP UP AND OUT drops down and gets a nice driver switch to Yannick Gingras. Don't be shocked if this guy wakes up. (4) SPILL THE BEANS posted two solid qualifying miles for his new barn; fast enough? (6) MORTAL ZIN drops down. Will he find his form?

Race 2

(2) DINNER AT THE MET came home willingly in both of his qualifiers and you like to see that from a youngster. In a field lacking clear talent, I'm inclined to give this colt a chance to score at first asking. (3) STIMULUS PLAN makes only his second start since September and did win here in 1:52 1/5 last year. (10) GHOST HOUSE gets a driver switch to David Miller; shows more?

Race 3

(6) RING LEDA is coming off a very deceptive PP line where he gained plenty of ground, was backed out of the race by a tired foe and paced home steadily. He doesn't exactly find an easy spot but might be worth a shot. (9) BERKSHIRE BEAR was awesome last week; must use. (3) AMERICAN PAPARAZZI & (1) BARBARIAN are both capable and hard to toss.

Race 4

(5) IMA GIGGITY FOOL raced very well off the bench and looks like the clear one to beat. (4) HUMILITY was used hard to make the top last time and actually hung around pretty well. (2) COURAGEOUS LADY likes to win but needs a clean trip. (9) TARPON HANOVER gets a new set of hands at the controls. That could make a difference. (7) GALLANT SEELSTER was never involved last time but showed ability as a 3-year-old.

Race 5

(8) STORMIN RUSTLER won at a ridiculous price last week. He drops in for a tag, has early speed and plenty of form. (5) EXPLODENT moves into a new barn and knows how to win here. (6) MAJOR WAY won convincingly last time.

Race 6

(4) DIAL OR NODIAL gets one last chance from me. I keep waiting for that huge wake-up mile and I wouldn't blame anyone for looking elsewhere in a competitive field. (6) HYPNOTIC BLUE CHIP had no chance of closing from last in his most recent start. If he can stay closer, watch out! (7) ESCAPE THE NEWS has been facing Open company out of town and I wouldn't be shocked if he found early speed this week.

Race 7

(1) CAM B ZIPPER was super last time and gets my automatic selection off that mile. (7) KEEP GOING wasn't put into play and closed for a small share in his latest. He could definitely win this week. (5) BOLDER drops down and could be a trip player. (10) MATTADOR D has big early speed but must overcome post 10.

Race 8

(7) AVOGADRO HANOVER was a strange claim by trainer Kyle Spagnola, since he starts most of his horses in Saratoga and that track is closed until March. This gelding has some ability and does add Pierce in a weak-looking field. (1) THANKS FOR STOPPIN draws better this week and should make his presence felt. (5) SPINARAMA gets a major switch to the top driver at the track. (9) REAL NICE has a ton of back class and actually raced decently last time.

Race 9

(5) VOICE OF TRUTH gets a pretty nice class break this week and the live hands of Callahan in the bike. (4) MAY DAY raced well for second against a tough winner last out. (2) STONEBRIDGE TONIC gets post and class relief. (9) P L FIGHTER was a very confident winner in his qualifier.

Race 10

(3) MANCHESTER took advantage of fast fractions and swept the field last week. Although David Miller opted off for #8, I think there is enough early speed signed on to put Joe Bongiorno in a position to win. (4) MAGIC TRICKS is coming off a sub 1:50 mile; dangerous. (2) AMERICHI looks like a capable Ron Burke-trained shipper. (8) MUSCLE BEACHBOY has speed and form.

Race 11

(4) DOVUTO HANOVER is obviously a talented 4-year-old and provided some evidence of that in his most recent effort. This is a strong field but he deserves the slight edge. (2) GEORGE JETTISON was a good second behind Eddie Sweat, who shipped across the Hudson to race in the Open at Yonkers. With a clean trip he can get the job done. (1) YO HEYENNE ROCKY raced very well in his first start of the year.

Race 12

(5) PIERCE may have lost last week, but that was his first start since the beginning of November. Now he gets Yannick in the bike and should be ready to roll. (6) UF ROCKIN DRAGON made a nice middle move in his start. Perhaps trainer Mark Ford has this gelding figured out. (3) WHEELAWAY has only missed the board three times in 16 career starts. (9) ROCK FAME may have some ability but I'm going to wait one more week.

Race 13

(1) MC RUSTY draws better this week for a solid barn. In this abysmal field, I'll give him the weak call. (9) WESTERN TSUNAMI should be gunning off the gate. (3) ALLAMERICAN APACHE won here last year.
